Having just purchased the a2a Aerostar, I agree it belongs on this list.

Really immersive airplane, nice to fly! 🙂

And do you have the Starship yet?

No, that one is "a bridge too far" for me...  I like the Garmin avionics 😉

Bert

My Top 3 are the Fenix Buses, iFly 737 Max, & PMDG 777's in no particular order.

I've agreed with most of what most have said here but just cannot get my head around the followers of the FSR500. Yes I agree Raul has pushed the envelope in many respects, but (for my liking) there is far too much of it that feels like a budget-basement add-on, and that ego ... 🤔 [insert shrug emoji]

Well, do you know most 3rd party developers actually work from home, and yes some in basements? What's wrong with that?

Now my office home is actually in the second floor, and I have 2 laptops, 3 PCs, 2 screens, several joysticks, throttles, mouses, keyboards, 1 Xbox-S and 1 Xbox-X.

If making a turboprop with that equipment, the help of 2 Brazilian pilots that fly the real aircraft 3 times a week, 1 flying school of the type, get recording data directly from Garmin g1000 for systems data and simulations, charting a real M500 for 1 day to record the sounds and invest 18 moths of development on it is a basement budget, then great, it did the job.

Is so easy to judge people, all I care is putting a smile to customers with the experience of my products, if 1 person does, job done. I don't need to lease a building with 3 floors to achieve that, instead I can use that money to build more products and better products for customers that appreciate the end results.

Best,

Raul

My top 3:

1. Blackbird C130J - this has come a long way since it's initial alpha release, yes there's some bugs still to iron out but it's outstanding value at its price and getting better.

2. Fenix (BFU is just outstanding)

3. FSR500 - I wasn't so keen on the looks of this when Raul said he was going to develop it but it's grown on me massively as I've seen the tremendous effort that's gone into making this a faithful rendition of the real life aircraft.  [I love that Raul goes to lengths that most people may not even realise, and even some line pilots dont realise 🤣]

Expand

A M E N on the Dirty 30!

and props on a lovely flight through The Loop!

I’ve been letting that one bake thru Alpha, but I thought it was really good (as an Alpha) even right out of the gate. I have to check it out again soon.
only thing I don’t like about it is how different the Lockheed cockpit flow is from everything else. But that’s a “me” problem 🤪

I have the FSR500. It's a hanger queen.

The problem is not with the product. It's me!

I just find the aircraft characterless and...anaemic. I suspect the real thing is too.

Only thing that would make me happier is if Raul dropped an FSR 700 Fury on us 😎

Edited August 2 by UrgentSiesta

The Fury is too new to gather data at the moment, aircraft manufacturers don't really give you much data as opossed to what most people think.

You need pilots of the type or flying schools that can provide you with meaningful information.

So we have to let the aviation market mature a bit longer before being able to gather the data for the 700.

Raul is the last person on earth to have an ego.  He's extremely generous actually.  Maybe he does design from his basement though. (I make liveries for free from mine).  The M500 (I mean FSR500), probably has the finest single turboprop flight model in any sim, ever.

Haha I absolutely ADORE the TBM850.  Nick really knocked it out of the park with that addon.  Plus it supports the TDS GTNxi lol.

IMO, the flight model on the FSR500 is a bit better though.  Systems and everything are pretty similar depth though.  Sounds on the M500 are better.  But I think Black Square is doing a newer version with Boris sounds, eventually.

I have to agree about the Citation X also, but I only flew it in 2024 and she handles well.

It's the best private jet in both sims right now.😎  Now we need Dassault Falcon 8X or a Global 8000 which developers should have access to.🤞

Gulfstream is still off the table thanks to the company.😑
