I have what may be a very dumb question, but I just purchased this sound pack and the Boris 777 sound packs, since both were on sale. Is there any other setup required, other than simply installing these packs into the MSFS community folder? I installed them but have been far to busy to take a spin and examine the sounds. I want to be sure that I am not missing any steps, and I didn’t see any installation instructions included in the download for either. Thanks in advance.

Cheers, Pete

Here is the 4 minute demo of the engine sounds enhancements that will be included in both Anniversary Edition and a standard version of the MaddogX Sound Immersion NG soundpacks. You will now finally hear a distinct and famous disharmonic whine on high idle/low thrust, tweaked medium thrust compressor sound, and further adjusted buzzsaw across the high N1 ranges. Now we can finally say we are close to something that we were aiming for initially.

No ETA as of yet, but the soundpack is in beta stage.

Thanks, does the current package work with the new 20th edition? I haven't removed it after upgrading to the newer version and I'm preety sure I hear more than the default sounds

You are hearing more, as Leonardo changed quite a few things audio wise in the newest update.

Wait, there's something that I dont get. I got this soundset from Orbx. It says "MaddogX Sound Immersion NG - Soundpack for Leonardo Fly The MaddogX 2020/2024"

It says fs2024 so I was under the impression that this is what i have been hearing so far. Im wrong? Im confused now

It's intended to be used with the older 2020/2024 maddog version and not the new 20th anniversary version released with the improved textures & sounds
