Sorry but my night flying doesn't look like that at all. Wish I could tell you why you're seeing that, but open at ticket with Asobo support and show them you screen shots. What area are you flying over?

LOL. Open a ticket ?

Show us your nights from up high. Maybe you got a special edition version of the sim.

  • Different strokes. I was flying earlier today, and thought the clouds looked so good that I decided to take a few screengrabs.

  • No issue so far. At the first launch, when I quit (properly) MSFS2024 never closed itself. After a reboot, didn't have the issue anymore nor any others detected (yet) 😉

"I think the MSFS team wants a solid and stable release for this Sim Update." Exactly.  SU1 and 2 had to be rushed out to sort out critical bugs that were making the simulator only marginally usa

I've noticed this over Dubai and the Middle East. Other regions seem ok.

The non-city areas in Dubai have this massive glow to them.

U.S, Salt lake city area

Also that was Dubai city screenshot BTW.

Landmarks ARE over exposed for me also in SU3. I think it is a recent thing. They changed something to do with the night lighting when they improved the bloom / strobes etc. And this is when it happened for me.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

I landed in Dubai many times 🙂 It doesn't look like that. The sand is pitch black at night; you can only see spotlights where the light sources (lamps, buildings) are.

See here for example:

But wait a second, don't we also now have new settings to modify exposures?

It can't be that recent. I'm just in plain SU2 and they are overexposed.
