August 27, 2025Aug 27 That's a real shame. Why don't they make it freeware without any support? Some other developers have done that; e.g. Milviz with their FSX/P3D aircraft. Perhaps contact PKSIM and make this suggestion.

PMDG are on record as saying their discontinued and suddenly unavailable past ac will NEVER be allowed to be Freeware. At least devs like A2a, despite throwing their new planes exclusively into the console market, still ALLOW us to buy their legacy classics for other sims. I'm not even asking for free planes, half price with a caveat that no ongoing support is available once initially purchased and installed would be fine. Russell Gough SE London

I contacted pksim twice about an issue I had with their Lima airport and never received a response from them. I don’t have much confidence that they’ll respond to me asking them to make their P3d sceneries free but that would be awesome. Orman

Not trying to defend pmdg for their decision to pull all P3d planes from the market, but I did ask a developer here on avsim about making a product that he made for v5 and no longer sells available for free. His response was basically he can’t because a lot of the coding in the v5 product is the same as his current products in msfs. So maybe pmdg would have the same reason. Orman
