Thanks yeah I want to see. To me the ATC looks fine but maybe I’m missing something or have low expectations or maybe don’t that issue.  I’ll make a video once I see yours if it’s any different.

Here is the youtube link. Its micro stuttering only after opening ATC window. This is the latest SU4 official build and every driver is up to date

Interesting still getting used to FS2024.  In my case I never had an official download unless it somehow does it automatically in the Windows Store App.  When I booted FS2024 it showed the proper release of 1.6.32.0.  Decided to take the DC-3 from West Maui Airport to Honolulu International Airport but it was already night when I started.  I noticed right away the night lighting was much improved and it seemed even though the performance was good before it is even better now.  Textures from what I can see also seems a little better and I seem to get less smearing/ghosting than before.  Jury is still out on this one since it was night.  I thought it was cool as I approached downtown Honolulu the city lighting glowed up into the night sky and you could see the city lighting glimmer on the water.  Maybe it did before but it looked especially good now.     

Other things I noticed is the menu is less clunky and works much smoother.  Almost like the menu's themselves lead to performance issues and sometimes my audio would make minor clicks and popping sounds. 

I will do a much longer flight tomorrow and in the daytime so I will know more at that time but so far color me impressed with this update!

Yeah it's very noticeable in VR, was throughout the beta period (apparently, I didn't notice until nearer the end as I rarely open up that window), they have a habit of not fixing the obvious a lot of times so maybe it's part of a bigger change or something.

I only spent about 10 mins on it as it was quite late.

Kept getting an error pop up. Error 2047, looks like some others have that as well, will try again later today. I don’t want to try a fix that wipes my control configs so hopefully it’ll get sorted.

 

Did everyone here get an actual download? I’m on PC with the windows store version.

I definitely noticed a difference and I had the Red Bull stuff on the opening menu screen.  In fact I think it actually posted a big banner of it at first.  It shows the proper version so I am certain its there but I never had an official download and I was waiting for it.  Kind of odd!  I also have the Windows Store version and when I open the Windows Store App it shows it as updated.  So the only thing I can think of is it downloaded the update automatically when I was using my computer this morning just before work.  Its this or perhaps it was an update server side?  

I have not had any errors yet but I just briefly flew the default DC-3 on a short 45 minute flight.  Tomorrow I will fly the PMDG 777F from Honolulu back to the mainland.  I have heard a few issues have popped up with the PMDG 777 model and SU4 but no idea how widespread it is or if it is really a problem at all.  

My system is becoming a bit dated but still not bad.  A 2021 build I7 10700i and a 2070 Super video card and it ran so well I am almost don't think I need to bother upgrading.  I will still do it in a few months to a year from now if I find a deal but its really solid.  Nice to know I don't need to be in a hurry with SU4.

Yeah that’s a good call, it probably does a background update through the store, I think of my SU some have done this (ie not shown any download but then being the correct version). 
Yeah I also had the redbull air racing banner on the Home Screen. 
 

Haha I actually updated the pc this year, I went a bit silly. 9800 X3D 5090 and 96 GB RAM. 
 

I do have some slightly odd issues with MSFS 24, some setting don’t save ( air traffic setting never saves and I have to turn it off on every sim start, I use BATC for traffic) luckily my control settings do save. I may have to do the dreaded delete and re-install, I just need to figure out how to save my bindings as I really don’t want to go through resetting those up again, that and saving my community folder.

 

They've messed with keyboard settings, why have they done that? why?   Drone cam is now SHIFT-X ????

while I like the new version, ground handling still seems a little off. I landed the Baron pro and it felt like I was on ice, very slippery. Naturally it couldn't be me...
