However, even for VFR, sometimes I like to enter my (custom) Lat/Long co-ordinates of interest directly into the route string of SimBrief, for easier import to the FMS. A three hour system outage isn't gonna end the world. As for me, whenever I run a flight plan, I always save the (ActiveSky) weather and the Simbrief flight plan in a bunch of formats, so I can load historical wx with Activesky and load the FP from a .pln file or an aircraft-specific flight plan file.
