I will never let RR live down his coffee comment until they finally come up with an update price that is actually the cost of two coffees.

I'm sure none of us can do that. I know I can't 😂. But also, I've found this is the cool thing about a diverse team like they have - we all notice different things. I can't tell you how many times I've seen non-pilots notice details I've overlooked a hundred times on an airplane I'm actually paid to fly.. which is mortifying the first time it happens lol. But after watching it happen multiple times (not just to me, thankfully!), I've realized it's because we're all placing emphasis on different items. Pilots tend to focus on obvious operational issues and overlook minor differences because that's how we fly airplanes - there's often minor differences from one plane to the next, little bugs that crop up on one flight but not the next... We're USED to seeing past the small things, but simmers catch them. From a human factors or psychology standpoint, I love seeing this happen 😉. Andrew Crowley
February 9Feb 9 What I’d really like to see is a 737-200!!! ROG MAXIMUS X HERO, Intel Core i7 8700K, 32 GB's 3200 RAM, Gigabyte RTX3080,

Where is that price standardized at? ☕☕ Is this what it feels like to be mugged? 😏 Opening a whine bar in MSFS2024.

I've enjoyed painting, but reaching the end of my career. As far as the diversity in the team, I wholeheartedly agree that folks from all different backgrounds can be a more productive team than one with only experts in the field. Like you said, we all see different things, and when we cross-check each other...a "suspected" bug can be quicky identified as a real issue, or just a knowledge issue. Just about every one of my reports begins with "I don't know if its supposed to do this..." LOL. And I rarely post a bug into the bug-tracker before running it by the team. Some bugs are obvious, like a reproducible crash, others could be nuances that the tester is not familiar with. And the human factors standpoint is fascinating...I too love watching the interaction and seeing a diverse team collaborate. 😉 Regards, Steve DraGet my paints for MSFS planes at flightsim.to here, and iFly 737s hereDownload my FSX, P3D paints at Avsim by clicking here
February 13Feb 13 Folks: I got back today to opening my MSFS2024/Xbox and was pleased to see that RSR has kept his word for promptly making the 737-900 available in the Marketplace. I picked it up and did a test takeoff with (KORD->KLAX) SimBrief Flight Plan loaded. I was puzzled to see so many (739-ER) variants in the SimBrief Flight Plan pull-down menu. I've chosen the [-900ER High Density with 1 Aux Tank] option...whatever that means... Below are 4 pictures. So far, no issue, no freeze, no orange screens ...I'll fly some more this weekend. Around here today, it feels like the winter is finally over. So, the RW sky outside looks just like my (artificially set) images below - blue, cloudless, and brilliantly sunny...🙂... Happy flying...!
February 13Feb 13 On this (Xbox) Trial Flight (KORD->KLAX) of the PMDG 739ER, flying cross-country, up and over the Rockies, I finally landed (safely) in KLAX. I tested 2x/4x Sim rate in cruise. There was just one transient "memory leak" related message after touchdown, otherwise it was a flawless experience from takeoff to touchdown...as far as I could tell... Nice a/c to fly and enjoy; I hadn't flown this variant since my FSX (PMDG/iFly) days...! 5 pictures below:
