February 7Feb 7 Did a short hop BRU-LHR a couple of hours ago, just loaded the sim at LHR now, no problems. No intention to fly more today, so I'll open a fine belgian Trappiste now. It is indeed mindblowing that some are affected, others not?? February 7Feb 7 No discernable problems in getting started today in the southeastern US. Could also be a CDN issue with regard to the reported failures. Presumably this will be cleared up "soon". It's always struck me that one of the big consistencies of MSFS is it's inconsistency 🫣. Different people with identical systems can have wildly different performance. Right now hundreds, perhaps thousands of people throughout Europe and North America are reporting server errors but where I am...it's fine. No idea how this happens...

February 7Feb 7 Author 5 minutes ago, DD_Arthur said: Yep... https://azure.status.microsoft/en-gb/status "Partial Recovery of ongoing Service Degradation in West US region Impact: Starting at 08:00 UTC on 07 February 2026, a subset of customers using Azure services in the West US region may experience intermittent service unavailability or delays in monitoring and log data for some resources hosted in the affected datacenter areas. Impacted customers may observe degraded performance or delayed telemetry as services continue to recover. Current Status: Earlier today, an unexpected interruption to utility power at one of our West US datacenters resulted in a loss of power to parts of the facility. Backup power systems were automatically activated, and power has since been stabilized across the affected areas. Following the power event, some infrastructure components experienced temporary unavailability. Network connectivity and management access were restored first to enable recovery operations, after which teams began recovering storage systems and the dependent compute resources. While most infrastructure is now reachable, storage recovery remains in progress, and some compute workloads continue to operate in a degraded state as these dependencies complete recovery. Customers may see gradual improvement as services are restored and system health validations continue. A small number of services remain impacted while recovery actions progress, and our engineering and datacenter teams remain actively engaged to monitor stability and ensure a safe return to normal operations.
