If MS take your money, they should be providing the service you paid for. How many times have we had server issues now?

MSFS Support on X has confirmed

"We are aware of player reports of being unable to successfully launch Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020) and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. The team is investigating and we thank you for your patience."

I'm also facing this problem in Brazil.

The cadence of server issues is becoming slightly annoying (alarming?)...

Right. With all the hardware, planes and airports invested it's an anxious thing. If MS decided to end this then what?

In France it works, no issues. Apparently it depends on the regions

It seems the Azure cloud is back over Vienna, Austria. 10 hrs outage - Imagine this happens not to a game and its sim enthusiasts.

I also noticed that MSFS2024 asks me now to start the setup. It behaves like I had never installed MSFS2024 on my computer. I fear I lost all my settings. I quit the sim before entering the setup because I don't want mess it up further, hoping that my settings get restored from that Azure thing very soon.

In Canada here both MSFS2020 and 2024 are affected and not working.

Simmers in other forums, who experienced the outage and are back online now, report that settings and controls are screwed. What a mess! Thanks you MS!

This is why I back up the wgs folder, it has all the settings saved in it. I found this tip here at AVSIM.
