June 4Jun 4 https://forums.flightsimulator.com/c/bugs/aircraft-systems-bug/201if you want to see how inaccurate the ATR is, look at any thread made by A220driv3rI'm going to keep flying it, the 42 at least, but because of how under powered it is, the 72 is just not great to fly right nowclimb rate is abysmal on the 72, seems like it's lower than it should be.apparently the gust lock only works when using a joystick/controller. if you use the numpad the aircraft surfaces still move with it on lmao though no one is going to be flying with the numpad (hopefully), that's still funny Edited June 4Jun 4 by Tuskin38

June 6Jun 6 Went for my first flight last night, things all seemed good, my biggest issues with the 2000 version look to have been fixed.Once in cruise after departing Southampton I was away from my computer for a few minutes and came back to find it crashed in a field in southern England, engines still running.I’m not sure what happened, but it was something bad! Find the ATR in the list. It will probably be greyed out. Wednesday at 02:09 PM3 days Tried this plane now several times and what really kills (my) immersion is that the sound is still awfully low. Sitting in the outside view, no matter if spot view or avatar mode, the plane simply is too quiet. Enginestartup should be noisy, in the ATR it is like some small RC plane firing up its engines. Can this be changed? Is there any mod available? Greetings, Chris AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 2x32GB DDR5 6000MT/s RAM, MSI RTX 4090 Ventus 3X, Windows 11 Home, MSFS2024
Thursday at 08:58 AM2 days Really no one? Does the ATR all sound normal in regard of engine noise levels? Compared to other planes? Greetings, Chris AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 2x32GB DDR5 6000MT/s RAM, MSI RTX 4090 Ventus 3X, Windows 11 Home, MSFS2024
Thursday at 04:20 PM2 days No mod that I am aware of. I agree the sounds are poor in general. Like the sounds when viewing the MCDU are dramatically different than the default pilot view. You’re still in the same seat, it should sound roughly the same. Also, the seat belt chime is audible only when you’re viewing the overhead panel. If you use a hardware switch from the pilot view you won’t hear it. Overall, just -poorly mixed. EddieKABQ

Friday at 05:50 AM1 day Did FTSim release an updated sound package for it? Shom MSFS2024 running on Win 11, 4K screen, Z790 AORUS ELITE AX-W, i9-14900K, MSI 3080Ti, Corsair 2x32GB 6000 MHz, 1+2TB M.2 NVMEs
Friday at 06:01 AM1 day They do, but from their product page: "PT6 Turbo-Prop Engine sounds". Cant be serious, no? The ATR has no PT6 engines... rather embarassing to release a payware product where the first line of package content lists an engine that is not even used in RL for the ATR...
