That's what in the end has always broken every addon that tried to go that deep (like SLC). Aircraft addon does not use the seatbelt simvar? Great, user turns seatbelt on but for the app it's still off. So the user has to do it manually in the app and gone is a bit of the immersion and so on. Great question, but the power of SimPassengers doesn't come from LVARs, Yes we read LVARs but if we can't find what we are really looking for then we switch to memory tracing and find exactly what we need to find. And also, we have adapters for every aircraft, which means for example, you are flying with an airliner that simpassengers doesn't know off, it starts scanning. Knows exactly what to look for and when you start using and setting up the aircraft the adapter generates and will be published to our servers with anonymous data (your username, email is not included in adapter release, just simple airliner name, the info that we gathered about the aircraft and adapter information) This is the part that makes us different, I guess. For example, if I get some weather diversion, or a diversion because of an unruly passenger, well beyond ATC simply can't handle diverts, so I don't want them to be a feature. You can always setup your difficulty to medium using our launcher app. Hard mode "may come with diversion" but medium and easy are always smooth sailing. I'm a BATC user too, so I can totally understand you. May 6May 6 nice product ! I might buy it (mainly because of random events) I've two questions : 1) Any video with full flight using it ? (to see how it works, possible options, interactions, etc..), or a pdf manual ? 2) "Weather divert" : how does it work ? Is it an event ? An option I can choose as a captain ? Guillaume Hi Guillaume, Thanks for your kind words. For your questions. 1. Right now a professional studio is preparing a brand new and full feature display video for our product. That's why we didn't focus on creating documentations but as you said, a full Help page, or a pdf file or event a full flight would be great. Just passed this to the dev-team and they have updated me that it's already in their pipeline and will be available very soon. 2. And for the weather divert and other divert related issues will be addressed with tomorrow's release, since today is our launch day, we had to handle some hiccups and that's why diversion system's full implementation was delayed until tomorrow. But SimPassengers follows your SimBrief flight plan so divert won't be an issue. But if any medical or critical event occurs, the choice is fully yours, either you can divert and handle the issue, or you can try your chances by continuing your flight. And don't forget, SimPassengers knows already your block fuel, reserved fuel and other factors. So you have to make a choice wisely. May 6May 6 Sounds interesting. Like Guillaume said, we need to see it in action from takeoff to landing before I/we can judge for ourselves. I already have a similar addon (Passengers2) However, I'm willing to try new, more tech savvy addons for MSFS.😃

Which is actually better bang for your buck. Mike

Mike Thanks Mike, really appreciate that. That was actually very close to the idea behind SimPassengers. We did not want to build just another soundboard or only a career layer. The goal was to bring the cabin, passenger reactions, events, telemetry and post-flight reports together in one flow around the flight. Still early days of course, but that is the direction we are trying to build towards. May 7May 7 I'm very interested by this especially by having an in-sim panel which means I can interface with it in VR. Was one of my issues with SLC as know I mostly fly in VR. However, I will await a video on the actual program to see what I'm getting into.

May 8May 8 Short haul flyer here. Will be watching this space as FSPassengers was one of the best addons I had in FS 2004 flying B1900D's out of Cleveland. Really brought it to life. James M Director of Ohio Valley Air Transport, a Golden Age VA for those who enjoy the slower pace.
May 8May 8 Author Commercial Member Quick transparency update Hi everyone, A quick update because purchases have been temporarily unavailable for around 24 hours. SimPassengers itself is working normally. Existing customers are not affected, activation and live flight systems are running, and v1.0.3 has been released as a small maintenance update. The issue is on the payment provider side. Our previous checkout provider can no longer process new purchases for us, so we have temporarily paused new purchases while we move to a new Merchant of Record / payment provider. I don’t want to turn this thread into payment-provider drama, so I’ll keep the details limited. The important part is that the product is operational, existing customers can continue flying, and new purchases will reopen as soon as the new checkout is ready. I’m sorry for the inconvenience, especially to anyone who tried to purchase during this window. I’ll update the website and this thread once purchases are available again. Thank you for the patience and support. P.S. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me directly at [email protected]. /Anil Anil Ardahanli Computer Science BsC :: Sindel Aviation (Niner Wings) PPL // CPL // IR // ME // ATP CEO & Co-Founder of ACE-Solutions https://ace-solutions.io

May 9May 9 Author Commercial Member Hi Captains, Quick update... Purchases are available again. We had to temporarily pause new SimPassengers purchases while moving to a new payment provider. Existing customers were not affected during this time, and the product itself continued running normally. The new checkout is now live, and purchases can be made again from the SimPassengers dashboard: https://simpassengers.com/dashboard I’m sorry for the interruption, especially to anyone who tried to buy during the last day or so. Not exactly the launch-week experience I wanted, but I preferred being transparent about it rather than pretending nothing happened. SimPassengers v1.0.3 is also available now as a small maintenance update for current users. Thanks again for the patience and for the interest in the product. /Anil Anil Ardahanli Computer Science BsC :: Sindel Aviation (Niner Wings) PPL // CPL // IR // ME // ATP CEO & Co-Founder of ACE-Solutions https://ace-solutions.io
