OCI Basepack Release by AIG

I'm still struggling with Caravan textures that appeared blink (SI is my injector).

It's probably just the one livery that SI is trying to use in place of having a more proper one. Do you know what specific livery it is?

Does it worth to start from this new .Zip, then go to OCI and download all zone I previously add?

I don't know exactly what is included in the base package, but from previous experience most users are having issue with a particular C208 from a small operator in New Zealand. Maybe it's in there but I would think probably not?

That's awesome news for new users! Your fleet is the best, and I've tried them all. I love to know what airliners did you include? I want to ensure that I'm not missing any. I downloaded 180

I tested the basepack install and t took about 20 minutes to install. It should not take 3 hours. Maybe there's something wrong with his method of installing the AIG Basepack.

Tried this yesterday. When you download and run AIG Manager, it updates itself and a window pops up asking you to select an oci folder location. If you do this, the "download basepack" button will dis

I installed two Days ago the whole thing, i belive around 80GB, at testing last days i have somehow no sound or not all sounds on the planes - also if i am at the Gate with my AC and see all the planes traveling around everything is so quiet around me.
With FSLTL, there was a lot of background noise on the whole Airport, so is this normal ?? 🤔

cheers 😉

(I'm not in front of my PC right now) Yes, it's that exact one.

I've removed it via AIG and few days later I had another pink C208 and it was a french registration (Little Nav Map is very useful to find the faulty model/livery). This Caravan New Zealand livery seems to be a well known issue, isn't? Is there's somewhere I can vote/add my participation to avoid other suffer the issue?

Hi guys ,

Seeing a lot of Problems with AIG Traffic Injector both AI Manager and AI Traffic Injektor are set to Adminrights .

First, do i have to Log in at the AIG Homepage/Forum first ! I saw that in an older Vid but seems AI Manager has changed its surface to do so.

Do i have to open both AI Manager and AI Traffic Injektor for MSFS to work or is ( after set all settings in the AI Manager ) it enough to us only AI Traffic Injektor ?

The Problems: If the AI Traffic Injektor open it seems to work, Traffic gets Injected but if i work on the Traffic Injektor it is so slow and sometimes than the screen where you see the picture goes black and i can`t do anything on the Traffic Injektor anymore..

It does not CTD but both MSFS and the Injektor can't be edited anymore’ means I can't do anything else, and this happens almost every time I launch both programmes. Is there any help available ?

I am now 4Days registered and it still says on ther site : Your account is still awaiting admin approval.

cheers ☹️

I can't say about the Traffic Controller issue but AI Manager only needs to be run when you want to install or update packages. A good tip as well is to not have the sim running when installing or updating packages with AI Manager as some of those textures may be in use by the sim.

I like the idea of it as a cleaner starting point for people who want traffic in the sim without building a big OCI setup first. If someone already spent time tuning a custom library though, I would probably treat this more like a baseline option than a reason to rebuild everything overnight.

I verified the install (setting/AIGAIM - OCI) and it started downloading the sound pack: https://library.avsim.net/file/211921-ai-traffic-sound-pack-v1-8

For normal use I only open AI Manager when I want to install or update packages. Once the library is in place, the injector is the runtime part.

On the sound side, check whether the separate AIG sound pack is installed and verify OCI again, because you can have traffic showing up but still end up with a pretty quiet airport if that piece is missing.

(MSFS2024) How checking the "separate AIG Sound pack is installed" ? I run regularly the Settings -> AIGAM - OCI -> Verify Setup

Is this Sound Pack mandatory needed for MSFS2020 or only if u use FSX-P3D ??

And if so can it be installed manualy and how to where ?

cheers 😉

Yes, that’s the one I meant. In my setup AI Manager is mainly for installing and updating packages. For the actual flight, the important bit is that the sound pack is installed and OCI sees it properly. Otherwise you can have traffic moving around and the airport still feels strangely quiet.

should be installed with the set up on first install, open up the community folder and under aig-aitraffic-oic there should be a folder called sounds

For me the easiest way to tell is just to look in the Community folder and check whether the AIG OCI package actually has a sounds folder in it. If traffic is spawning but the airport still feels oddly quiet, that’s usually the first thing I check before assuming the injector is the problem. I only run AI Manager when I’m installing or updating. For normal flying it’s just the injector on its own. If Verify Setup keeps passing but you still have no ambience, I’d also try a quick test at a busy default airport with higher traffic density, just to rule out it being a low-traffic moment rather than a bad install.

This was very good news and I was very excited of it!

I watched a vid by Easyjetsimpilot. He said that d/l takes really long time, 15-20 minutes. I was not expecting it to happend in shorter time

The AIC Manager says: "The basepack of your OCI installation will now be downloaded, this process will take some time."

Sure! My Basepack installing/unzipping has now been going for more than 3 hours. And my connection is not that slow.

How can I finish this process? Will it ever be ready?
