PMDG WASIM Issues

Featured Replies

Hi all, anybody else getting the red wasim squares for the PMDG 737 series today? Planes are working fine a couple days back. I did update he planes and have them flown them since I update them. However now I'm getting the Wasim red squares after the updates.

Asus Tuf Gaming Plus B550 - Ryzen 7 5800X3D - Asus GeForce 4080 RTX OC Edition - 64GB DDR4 (3600Mhz) - EVGA 850W Power Supply - 2X 1 TB NVME PCIE gen 4 - Windows 11 (25H2)

I have been flying a few of them today, and they have all worked fine. I have heard reports that saved panel states from before installation of the update may be the source of the problem. If you use those, then it is probably a good idea to delete them (back them up first).

unfortunately not for me. only have the default ones. re-installed the 737 completely and still it just does not load beyond the Fly Now button, no orange WASM screen though, actually black screens and MSFS2024 freezes alltogether...

I flew few times after latest PMDG update with no issue. However, during my last flight from CA to FL I experienced WASM crash after stepping up cruise altitude. This the first WASM crash I had in PMDG 737 series in MSFS 2024 ever . All screens got red and “lower CDU gauge fault” error appeared .

I got a WASM crash after loading the 737 for the first time after the update. I deleted the WASM files for the airplane and the next flight went OK.

Updated couple days ago to hdu update and the latest version. Deleted panel state that I had saved and recreated no issues so far.

Thx !!! 👌

Since I was in a hurry I uninstalled / reinstalled and it also worked, butr the panel state method is more efficient...

it would if it worked for me. de- and reinstalled the 737 and no cure. only have the default panel states, never created an own one before. still the 737 and actually MSFS2024 altogether freezes after I hit Fly Now. But well, as mentioned before, I am on SU6 beta and cannot expect it to work so no complaint. though as also mentioned, Fenix, iFly and the Avro RJ work perfectly. Wondering whether the PMDG has problems with ChasePlane maybe since I do not get the new WASM red/orange screens but just dead/black screens. But again, all the other planes work just fine... will maybe try again the PMDG but otherwise continue to use the others. I am anyway getting less and less tempted to use the PMDG-ware TBH, just not as "polished" like the others in terms of QOL (think about EFB....). just my 2cents though, no reason to get yet in another PMDG bashing/justification please

EDIT I stand corrected. Tried the 738 - cargo version - and it loaded just fine. will do my return LGAV LGKR now with that one
