August 5Aug 5 Author FYI, Armin, the lead dev is on holiday to watch the total eclipse in Spain. The rest of the team is working on ironing out bugs though. Got a reply to a bug report, but did not test any of the advertised hotfixes yet. 7950X3D + 7900 XT + 64 GB + Linux | 4800H + RTX2060 + 32 GB + Linux My add-ons from my FS9/FSX days
August 5Aug 5 I want to digress from my last statement. After going back to the free X-World I could see a noticeable difference so I reinstalled the pro. It is certainly an improvement. I was just hoping for more regional buildings in Latin America but no buyers regret. Pro is better. Vic green
August 7Aug 7 What is involved in the install process for X-World Pro? Not being the sharpest knife in the drawer when it comes to some of this I would need it to be relatively easy. Thanks for any responses.

After downloading just open the rar file using winzip 7and copy to your custom scenery folder. Be sure to install the library file as well. Vic green

August 9Aug 9 Commercial Member Finally got it, as I had couple of hours of spare time to test it. Mixed feelings about buildings around my area - many new buildings, or at least with correct shapes now, but some major buildings are gone. Strange. Vegetation is on another hand, much much better, and allowed me to remove Global Forests. Still preliminary results though. But one major thing - FPS is way better on my system comparing to free X-WORLD! And cherry on the cake, with all X-WORLD PRO layers enabled (people, benches, mail boxes, hydrants, and whatever it has)! Quite surprised about that to be honest, especially when taking into account that I keep all scenery sliders to the max (except, LOD, that is on notch lower than max). August 9Aug 9 Global Forest has been causing FPS issues for a long time, so if you've removed it, you might see a significant FPS boost there.

I always thought X-WORLD was causing fps drops, not Global Forests. Thanks for clarifying. August 9Aug 9 Author 15 hours ago, Pe11e said:but some major buildings are gone.Known bug. For some reason, every building that's taller than 6 floors isn't included in the footprints layer. As a workaround, I'm using the footprints and scenery layers from v3.0 instead of those from Pro. 7950X3D + 7900 XT + 64 GB + Linux | 4800H + RTX2060 + 32 GB + Linux My add-ons from my FS9/FSX days
August 10Aug 10 I'm a little short on budget... could someone take some screenshots for me from LEMU? That area, despite having OSM coverage, has always looked bad in SimHeaven, with hardly any buildings, just like the city of Alicante. I want to see if I should make the investment or stick with the free version. Thanks

August 10Aug 10 Commercial Member Anyways, anyone triggered by these fake overlay textures added by X-WORLD PRO? I'm just not sure why they did that, especially when 80% of users are using it with ortho? Anyone have an idea how to disable these overlay textures?
