What is wrong with Tunis in your opinion?

Is it possible that you have some problems with your install or compatibility with other scenery packages?

I totally like it to be honest.

buildings cut in half , missing roads, it looks like random houses scattered around ...

i do not have other or previous packages installed

Well, if you didn’t care you wouldn’t keep posting about it…? Its hardly nitpicking if I can get superior results from a 6 year old product. And I’m not going to apologize for living in a HUGE country

It's still OSM + MS building footprints + heights + the now closed Google Sketchup 3D warehouse. However, now it's just generated again with OSM2Xplane instead of World2XPlane (since that's what event

@UrgentSiesta , are these houses american enough for you? https://ibb.co/GQgZR0PR Also note the missing roads. Missing data (in the DSFs) seems to be prevalent in the initial X-World release, as ther

Does anyone have a snap from Florida, SoCal, Or Colorado?

Well, it seems there’s now a glut of preview videos on YouTube! 😁👍

And fortunately, at least one of them showed KMIA and nearby areas! I’m pleased to note that many of the neighborhoods DO seem to have appropriately styled houses.

But…others do not. Seems to drop back to the generic two story row house kinda thing.

But the biggest distraction is the bug where there’s no roads or streets present for some reason. IIRC, they’re getting it fixed.

So, I’m cautiously optimistic and will keep an eye on progress. 🤙

I bit the bullet and am quite happy other than a minor issue where I have hundred and thousands of police cars all over. To me with map enhancement, it is worth the money and I am sure it will only get better with time.

I do not use global forests and mostly fly North America. Forest are dense at second highest setting. I cranked the world objects to the right as a test and I think I might bring that down one notch. It hit the frames a bit but overall I am happy with the performance as it seems far more detailed than the free version. Other than the issue I have with police cars everywhere, it's worth the money.

Did the hot fix fix it ? Does it look (even) better now?

How are you using XWP ?

  • With Orthos

  • With other libraries

  • Standalone

Learning to fly gliders since 1980

Stopped using flightsims for good since early August 2026, after 34 yrs using some really great specimens... If I'm asked to name the preferred one, after all these years, MSFS 2024 is my answer without hesitation.

(No desktop :-// after the last one crashed for good, so no simming, but I keep polling AVSIM - my main ludic activities spot since around 2006...)

That's accurate 😆
In seriousness, yes, this is a bug in the xroads package that still hasn't been fixed

I am using xroads, map enhancement. I have yet to install the hotfix yet. Yes, the local roads missing and weird roads where parking lots should be are a bit strange but overall it seems better and when they have everything straightened out, will look amazing. As it is right now, it is very good and the minor issues doesn't really bother me. I am focusing more on the flying anyway at low level since I primarily fly Toliss A32x.

@ tony, xroads is the reason behind all of the EMS vehicles?

i just pulled the pro and reinstalled the freeware Sim Heaven. I really didn't see enough improvement in regional autogen to be worth the aggravation. I did buy the entire global package so I'll watch in the months and years to come for user noted approvals.

The hot fix breaks everything. I've seen some solutions elsewhere that requires editing files and such but I'm not even going there. Going back to previousfree version as well but I guess refunds won't be given.

Crickets from developer as well after multiple messages sent.

xroads is not compatible currently. melbo is working on it.

Hopefully in years to come we will have the next gen scenery and none of this madness will be required any longer.

It was on my system. It had a tweak to increase the number of cars that ended up ramping up the amount of police vehicles, especially visible at night, so I removed it and the problem went away
