  1. Thanks, I am not on Steam so I guess I will have to live with it until it officially releases.
  2. Yep when an opinion is wanted it will be given to you 😵‍💫
  3. I agree. I have instructed in them and would never do so again. Diabolical machines and I don't know what Piper were thinking when they came up with it.
  4. How do I get 1.35.16.0? Currently have 1.35.14.0 and happily downloading???
  5. Shouldn't you be seeing a QR code come up on the G1000?
  6. I'm pretty sure it has been discontinued.
  7. I really don't know how we managed without an EFB?? 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
  8. (a) How long did Fenix take to develop and release? (b) PMDG explained the reasons for the time it has taken, so they started from a different base line that Fenix. The comparison is apples and oranges.
  9. Experiencing the same thing here. Back in the hangar for a refit.
  10. If you read the title of this post, and the name of the document, it appears to be an "Introduction" - not a manual.
  11. I believe the F28 has a GNS530 option
  12. There are plenty of posts on this topic. The reason is that the RXP uses the actual Garmin Trainer available to real owners to drive the RXP. You therefore get full functionality just as a real aircraft owner does. The trade-off is that the databases used are Garmin's own databases, that are protected and cannot (or should not) be reverse engineered, even if you knew how. Updating to the latest Trainer version will give you the most up to date database unless you know a real owner who might be able to "help" you. There is no possibility of being updated via Navigraph.
  13. Are you clicking it or using the mouse wheel? Mouse wheel works for me.
  14. Well I have it, fly it and can't see a litany of bugs that prevents me doing so. Having said that, to avoid a thread drift I won't comment any further.
  15. What issues specifically?
  16. It was a very interesting video, especially as I own a piston single. Proves the idea that buying them is the easy part. I once had a fault repaired in my autopilot. Problem was a $25 transistor had failed. Final repair bill: $2,500.
  17. Best of both worlds - similar class of aircraft - one a little more steam than the other which is full glass. Great combination - I'll be getting this one the minute it is released (already have the TBM which is brilliant)
  18. The databases for the Garmin Trainer that drives the GNS are a proprietary Garmin database. It cannot be updated by Navigraph. It would require purchasing a genuine database from Garmin which can be expensive and problematic.
  19. That's about it I think - sadly.
  20. The Majestic Q400 is v6 ready
