this is a pilot sleepy time checker so if u fall asleep at the wheel it will start alarming you, usually used on long flights, if u dont care much for this, i would suggest disabling this option in PMDG options in FMC. clicking on master alarm warning button acknowledges you are not sleepy.

I got my boston scenery installed as well no issues, however runway lights no go, i have similar issue with Fairbank X as well from aerosoft, anyone else had issues similar, or tried it? hmm found few articles related to video driver maybe thats an issue i have, my nvidia updates to latest drivers. will try that and let u know.

Markito, what i would suggest it do is disable any custom scenery in libraries or any scenery u downloaded into addon scenery folder, and restart FSX and try again just basic flight. I doubt its 777 or ASN, what i seen is if u install some bad scenery and fly over it over time that eats up VAS. Also check what modules you load with FSX in ur xml file. if goes well then start adding things back until breaks.

I apologize if i am posting this in wrong forum, but i had a question, i been flying 99% PDMG products but recently had a flight on 340 Airbus and loved it, was wondering if there is any 340 buses there with realism and cockpit replication as PMDG products? or is no one simply does Airbus nowadays except AirbusX which i have but it lacks that realism u get out of PMDG. Just curious, poked around web and didnt find much, so just want to confirm that there is really no a340 complex aircraft out there. Thanks.

Arezki.ben, the weather radar will only display data if there is precipitation, not just clouds, remember like in real life radar beam bounces off the water droplets and returns data to radar, so even if u have bunch of clouds but no rain no data will show up on ur screen. To test this setup custom weather with rain etc and see for ur self. Thanks. Andrei.

Dear PMDG, I know this was brought up before and there was extensive explanation on why the out of VC view is so large compared to real setup due to HUD implementation, and sounds as there will be no patch or option to have a real view out of vc for those who do not use HUD option in fsx from what i searched on forums ( i could be wrong or missed a post somewhere), however would it be possible to consider to have the option for p3D where if u do not use HUD to have real view out VC when you guys release 737 ngx for p3d. I love 737 but the fact that cockpit doesn't feel 'cozy' and feels odd when comparing to other cockpits you made pretty much makes 737 unreal, specially after when u actually u sit in real one or full sim. I know you cant cater everyones requests but though i would see if this something might generate interest of others as i am sure i am not alone in this, i do love HUD option you provided but with FSX bug of constant Eye View Movement for me it pretty much ruined option to run with hud, as constant head eye adjustments made it pointless, but landings are awesome with it. i have a very odd issue wondering if anyone knows what this could be as i am running out of ideas and drives me crazy and haven't been able to find anything that might help, anyways on to problem: * when i fly helos lets say in Alaska or anywhere in the mountain regions, helos will fly with full control up to certain altitude at which point it feels like controls freeze and i can only control throttle and then pitch yaw will freeze or lock in certain position for a few seconds, and then as soon as i lower down below lets say 8000 i have full control, i tried this with default helo's, Cera Bell 222, and this appears only related to helo's, any other aircraft i can go 60k altitude no issues. for example i was flying in Alaska (orbx) towards (Pagy) from one of the small airfields and had to hop a ridge, at about 8k ridge suddenly my controls froze and i could turn left or right or pitch up down until i came down below 8k using throttle (throttle control never freezes). has anyone seen anything like that? It's abug with airport. I gave up on them after sending emails and even trying to fix it via airport designer has to do with their elevation being wrong so are stuck, mine got to point where I would taxi along and suddenly find my nose bounced up like I hit speed bump and if you have crash detect enabled it would crush the plane even thou u are taxing on the open taxiway Not great product regret purchase but it was the only thing available. Waiting on the other guys to do the new version of Kden For now might have find spot where u are not stuck, not sure what u fly but usually fly out of b38-42 seems to be ok, or a gates didn't have issues there, Thanks Andre

i would think this is related possibly to temp or overheating maybe of cpu or mobo, have you checked ur running temps? system shuts down to prevent overheating. in regards of powersupply, 850 like thermal make will do just fine, you dont need 1000 unless u planning to run some heavy duty OC and multiple SLI configs etc. Thanks, Andrei.

are you doing derated takeoff? and if so 1 2 or temp based drate? might have to recalc your drates. Thanks Andrei.

Totally known error and will be fixed in next SP. to bypass that simply open your RTE file and look at origin destination airport and look for value starting on by itself on line with -11 for example, change the value to positive number without - and resave the route and now you should be able to import it in. This is a known bug/issue where altitude of the airport is reported in rte file as negative something like -10. you have to open rte file and search for the destination and source airports and verify that their altitude is set to positive value. Thanks, Andrei.

no prob, that bird is awesome, i am actually lining up all stuff to build a home cockpit for it, waiting on their release for PRO version, they stated that they would support it.

I edit the files before i start FSX and flight, the files located under simobjects for model option you can disable and enabled it via that method by editing a model.cfg file. see below if you are interested: [models] //normal=PMDG_777_200LR.MDL <------------------ putting // infront disables visual model from outside. interior=PMDG_777_VC file is found under model section of the plane you are trying to edit same folder where, texture, panel, etc located.
