  1. I'll take any of them but a nice ER would be great. Now I can fly KSFO-PHNL or KORD-PHNL.
  2. Do the Emirates 77Ls have the aux fuel tanks?
  3. Absolutely can't wait for a quality T7. I have the PSS 777LR etc and its not bad but when the company folded so did the support. I'm sure PMDG will have the definative version.
  4. Disappointing but not surprising coming from MS. They have failed to fully develop any game in the FS series. I've been buying them since they came out and they've yet to correct problems with the sim that have been there since day one. Now a slap in the face to the flight sim community by giving us the finger so to speak. This attitude is why the product will never reach its full potential and will be just another "game" to MS. Links was a great golf sim and the last version came out in 2003. Another potentially great product that was never given adequate support from MS. I'm glad PMDG and Capt. Randazzo are committed to producing quality a/c we can still use on FSX. Hopefully Level D and others will follow because I will certainly not buy another half-assed product from MS. Sorry for the rant! Joe Colao
  5. The PSS T7 had potential but was never fine tuned. I'm sure PMDG will make the best T7 on the market. Can't wait!
  6. The P-51D was a truly beautiful plane, a style that never got old. The 744 to me is the most beautiful airliner huge but graceful. As someone already mentioned the SR-71 also.
  7. Hi ATC key is a datalink, SAT are satellite communications, CMC is for maintenance as is MEMORY and EFIS CP is the alt EFIS control panel. Thanks go to the Big Boeing FMC User's Guide and the good gentlemen who wrote it.
  8. I have the 744 and MD-11 but I prefer the 744 because I like a little less automation. Its also managing the size of the Queen when setting up approaches and takeoffs at MTW. The MD-11 is great to fly though. They're both beautiful a/c to fly.
  9. I have the 747 and 767 dvds and they're excellent. Chris does a great job teaching and the videos are top quality. Well worth the money. Just waiting on the MD-11 dvd now!
  10. Great to hear about the T7. I felt the PSS T7 had alot of potential but never quite got there. I'm sure PMDG will make it right!
  11. Must be strange in bed- "I'm coming, I'm coming". :( Joe Colao

    FPV

In one of the type rating courses Capt. Randazzo shows the use of the FPV in the 744. Joe
  13. Thats great! You wonder if an empty 744 with a light fuel load could do that. I feel bad for the guy in that powered glider! The wake vortex from the 744 would have sent him cross-country. Joe
  14. Chris I have the 767 dvd and its great. I'm sure this one is just as good. You do a fantastic detailed job. I'll be purchasing this one also. Thanks again, Joe
  15. Congratulations Capt.Randazzo!! Very impressive accomplishment. Enjoy all your flights on the a/c we all want to fly. Salute!! Joe Colao
  16. Leo, Its not available yet but got to Chris' website for info and a video www.flyaoamedia.com. He posted an update last week. Joe
  17. Markus, glad to hear the MD-11 fuel system is automated. Looking at the overhead I had visions of the Concorde with its complicated system. Joe
  18. Beautiful Pete! I like the matching stripes on the winglets. Joe
  19. Wow thats some overhead panel!:-eek It makes the 744 look easy! Joe
  20. Also Mike Ray's checkride book for the 744 has great info on non precision approaches. Joe
  21. Luis, again great video! You should consider putting together an instrument flying video for the 744. These are really helpful, keep 'em coming! Thanks, Joe
  22. Same here. Since the developers took the time to implement a realistic IRS, the least I can do is wait 10min! Joe
  23. Luis, great job! Looking forward to the next video. Interesting to see the 744 flown using raw data. Great screen too! Joe

    Chris493

Good job Chris. You have the luxury of time on your hands and if you are 13, you're getting a great head start! Take advantage of all the knowledge you get here because alot of these guys live with this a/c. Good luck and hopefully you'll get to fly in the left-hand seat. Joe
