  1. Hi Tom, Thanks for the info. It took me a while to find "The "Power Management Mode" - NVidia Control Panel > 3D Settings > Manage 3D Settings > Power Management Mode. I was indeed in Adaptive Mode and switched. At KEWR - Newark,NJ - I had a substantial rise in frame rates of about 20FPS. This with the Drzewiecki Design New York Airports! However, once en route the FPS dropped to about 20FPS where I expected better frame rates. At any rate, thanks again for the topic. I will fiddle around with my settings and try to improve performance beyond what I have now.
  2. I first tried downloading at 12a to 1a then gave up. Downloaded at about 630a. The download was fast and no glitches with the registration. Everything worked well. First flight and coupled approach went very smoothly. Beautiful aircraft!! Definitely a keeper. Get one. Congrats to the IXEG team and X-Aviation.
  3. Hi Strider, Mr. Robert Ferraro, CEO and President of PC Aviator responded to one of my emails with that information. The state was not mentioned.
  4. Hi, For those interested in MegaSceneryEarth it appears that they are "close" to completing the first X-Plane state. So, more good news for X-Plane users along with some terrific aircraft to be released in the near future. Yay!!!
  5. Thanks for the interesting info. 04 March will mark the one year anniversary of the DC-6B for X-Plane announcement, with other platforms to follow. Looking back at those spectacular pics of the a/c shows a very promising product. I am looking forward to the release (soon I hope), adding it to my X-Plane hangar and flying it, of course. Good luck.
  6. Hi, I was looking around the flight simulator world for examples of Gulfstream business jets and found none. I was surprised considering the great performance of these aircraft. Maybe there is a restriction from the manufacturer (?). I hope some enterprising X-Plane aircraft design team would pick up the challenge of making one. Back in the day crossing the pond, Gulfstream aircraft would be flying several thousand feet above us at FL410 or FL430. That always impressed me. Let's see one in X-Plane.
  7. Ah, another beautiful aircraft to look forward to in X-Plane. It appears to be very efficient.
  8. I enjoy my flying on X-Plane 10. Is it perfect? No, but it does a reasonably good job. I am glad to see the prop torque issue has been fixed. If Austin is going to claim "The world’s most advanced flight simulator" he should make sure he is on top of such issues. I don't expect perfection, but I do expect due diligence. When the Aces design team was shut down at Microsoft, I was disappointed and decided to give X-Plane my support. There has been constant improvements in the product and I expect that will continue. I haven't regretted the change. Positive and constructive criticisms will help in future iterations of X-Plane.
  9. American look indeed. Outstanding work by Tony. I was taken aback when I first saw fscoffee's pix. Just amazing. Tony: Thanks for your constructive and artful works for X-Plane.
  10. Many thanks! I am downloading DD NYC now. Great price! $17.23 quoted.
  11. Beautiful work by Drzewiecki Design. I was wondering if the Cape Liberty Cruise Port in Bayonne, NJ is included? Either way it is on my wish list. Hopefully, it will be part of a Christmas sale. I have the NY/NJ airports by DD and this should fit in really well.
  12. Hi Ryan, Thanks for the info. I wonder what's next? The PC-12 if it fits? Or the............................? Anyway, it looks like a good idea if the functionality is very good.
  13. The B737-300 project by ixeg seems like the light is at the end of the tunnel and will be available to the public relatively soon. I can't wait. Everything really looks good. Thanks for all of the team's hard work and good luck with the final product. It is definitely on my wish/purchase list. X-Plane will be better for it I am sure.
  14. Hi, Note: the Aerobask Pipistrel has a functioning emergency parachute in X-Plane. I tried to send a picture, but it didn't work. So, Carenado could use it if it wishes.
  15. Hi Jose, Here is a review: http://asn-xp.aerosoft.com/?s=archer+III&x=0&y=0 that may be helpful.
  16. Outstanding! Big improvement and should be standard in XP. Nice work.
  17. Hi Joonas, You might try deleting "Preferences" in the "Output" folder of Xplane. I had low FPS after a rebuild and upgrade (970 card). and didn't have the performance I expected. So, I finally deleted preferences and had an improvement. Reboot. Type in new preferences. I also like the "presets" as a starting point. I hope this is helpful.
  18. Release candidate 3: Fixed IOS selecting wrong airport over the net when the IOS and master machines have different scenery installed. Fixed older aircraft stalling out with propeller locked in feathered position (4541). Fixed auto-start command not working (1852). Fixed incorrect versioning info in analytics code. Clarified language on product key entry dialog box. Fixed typo in version number on startup screen.
  19. FYI, RC3 is out now. My version shows 10.41.
  20. I couldn't resist........................So, i ordered the Viperjet today. Nice bird with good avionics and performance. Like a personal fighter. Flies nicely. The price was good as well at $21.95.
  21. I am really looking forward to the highly polished IXEG B7373 release. Keep on plugging along and get it out to the public soon in first class fashion.
  22. I tend to agree. At least have some options available to help tailor the user's needs. Reduce the drama clutter. I hope the B767 will be a great addition to XP-10.
  23. CyberMike, I got mine a couple of days ago on the .org (v10.36) and it works. Try "My Account" and a fresh download.
  24. There was no engineer panel per se. Generally, the FE sat facing forward. There was an Ignition analyzer on a panel to his left (facing forward). I don't know if PMDG has that panel in their DC-6B. Considering their thoroughness it will be there.
