  1. I have 5.2.2 already and it didn't work out the box so to speak, it wasn't until I enabled EZDok as detail earlier in the thread that it did start working. That's probably because I had removed the simconnect.dll files form the TrackIR folders as instructed when you install EZDok.
  2. Navigate to the EZCA folder shown earlier in the thread and once P3D is running start the EZCA.exe directly by double clicking on it, does EZDok load now? The config tool won't work in P3D that's why you have to manually edit the aircraft.cfg to add the 201 camera definition. You need to do that with every aircraft you intend to use with EZCA.
  3. That's every step, there are no more detailed instructions. If you already have EZDok and TrackIR working in FSX then it should just work in P3D once you follow the simple steps above. If you don't have FSX installed then sorry I can't help you.
  4. Try it, change the name to exe.xml if it doesn't work. Edit: that's exactly what my FSX exe.xml looks like, I imagine it doesn't really matter as long as the actual file name is correct.
  5. UK2000's VFR Airfields packages do the same thing but the textures on the trees look far more obnoxious, lol. Nice tip, thanks for passing it along.
  6. Put it wherever you like, you add it to the scenery library like you would any other scenery. I just have one folder with all the meshes in and I point FS or P3D to it. Actually I just point P3D to the same folder as FSX.
  7. VRinsight's gear has always worked in P3D and it still does in V2 So you couldn't have been looking too hard, no biggy.
  8. Cloud shadows are supposed to be coming in a later point release, I presume this would be eradicated then, I hope.
  9. No problem Guenter you are welcome, I try my best, sometimes it takes a little longer to get to the answer, but I don't often give up. Besides you and Artem deserve most of the praise for all the effort you put into LINDA.
  10. Move your view point, you are likely inside part of the cockpit geometry (Seat headrest behind you for example) if that is the case then you won't be able to click on anything. FSX is exactly the same.
  11. No unfortunately not, Majestic chose to use there own custom coded radio for some unknown reason and Linda has no way of interfacing with it at this time. Majestic did promise to tie the default commands to their systems but it could be well into next year before we see anything and it may only be on Pro and Training editions, the Pilot edition may not see the updated capability at all.
  12. Copy your FSUIPC4.ini file from FSX to P3D, then do the same for Linda and its files and folders.
  13. Yes it does work in P3D V2.
  14. V-Sync is working perfectly on my system, not a single tear, no need to faff about with N-vidia inspector anymore either, the options are all right there is P3D itself. FS has NEVER been so smooth on my PC, I really do mean butter smooth as well.
  15. EZDok, Version 5 of TrackIR. When TrackIR looks for a game, instead of it looking for P3D it finds EZDok and it is that that makes TrackIR work in P3D. I've not tried to get it working without EZDok as I lose far too much functionality.

  17. You might need this file too which is a P3D compatible version of the main exe. http://www.ezdok-software.com/resources/files/EZCA_%20P3D_beta.rar Link taken from here; http://www.simforums.com/forums/ezdok-and-prepar3d_topic40274_post236510.html#236510
  18. Add this to your dll.xml; <Launch.Addon> <Name>EZdok camera addon</Name> <Disabled>false</Disabled> <Path>C:\Program Files (x86)\EZCA\EZCA.exe</Path> </Launch.Addon> If you have no dll.xml at all the whole file contents look like this; <?xml version="1.0" encoding="windows-1252"?> <SimBase.Document Type="Launch" version="1,0"> <Descr>Launch</Descr> <Filename>dll.xml</Filename> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Launch.ManualLoad>False</Launch.ManualLoad> <Launch.Addon> <Name>EZdok camera addon</Name> <Disabled>false</Disabled> <Path>C:\Program Files (x86)\EZCA\EZCA.exe</Path> </Launch.Addon> </SimBase.Document> And this to the aircraft.cfg at the end of each aircraft you want to use with EZCA. [CameraDefinition.201] Title=EZdok Aircraft Universal camera Guid={D8D67955-2E9B-4e75-9D8B-8EFFBBFAC65B} Description=Universal camera for EZdok cam utility Origin=Center SnapPbhAdjust=Swivel SnapPbhReturn=FALSE PanPbhAdjust=Swivel PanPbhReturn=FALSE Track=None ShowAxis=FALSE AllowZoom=TRUE InitialZoom=0.40 ShowWeather=Yes InitialXyz=0,0,0 InitialPbh=10, 0, 0 XyzAdjust=TRUE Category=Aircraft MomentumEffect=FALSE ClipMode=Minimum HotKeySelect=4
  19. There is popup, if you have the LOD at max 6.5, its hard to notice as its a long way off on the horizon if you are flying low, but it definitely has been popping in on me, its nowhere near as noticeable as it was in FSX though.
  20. No its not, I've never touch fullscreen mode and I had a random black screen after flying fine for an hour or so. It's not done it since then.
  21. I've seen it in the Bonanza too, simply closing the sim and reloading it cleared the issue. I wouldn't mind but the black screen didn't appear till about 1 hour into me using the sim. It's not happened again since and I've never turned HDR off.
