  1. Yes """""""""""multi""""""""""""""sim, we know.....
  2. I use three cfgs: IFR, VFR, IFR for super-heavy scenery/addons. Minimum 30FPS and VRAM available in all situations.
  3. What I'm seeing is that there is no promo/upgrade price for current "customers" with P3D addons in case one day they use MSFS... am I wrong? I have almost everything!
  4. I think that 24 or... idk, 36/48 hours of data enough.
  5. I use Pro-ATC-X and their developer said they are working on a completely new version for MSFS, which is good news. Will """""""""multi""""""""sim suggest that I can use MSFS default ATC in the meantime?
  6. One can only hope that most Fenix and PMDG users will come to the conclusion that "day flying" with night temperatures (and vice versa) makes no sense. It happened to me and that's why I use HW. It was like a revelation... Until then... PS: but I also ask: what is the problem with the self-titled """""""multi"""""""sim, whether I use MSFS or not... I use it if I want to, and if I don't... I don't use it. As I mentioned several posts back, I have everything I need in P3D, what I was (and am) investigating is if for me it's worth making the jump. If in my opinion it's not worth it (yet) what's the problem, am I offending anyone!!!? Same thing as Ray Proudfoot once he has Concorde on version 5 or 6. what is the problem?!? is Ray insulting someone by saying that a certain feature that is needed is not available in MSFS... who is offended by this...!? No Prepar3D user is "offended" by MSFS graphics (which is what makes the overwhelming majority use that software). It is a fact that graphically it is superior, just as it is a fact that currently its weather system does not suit some of us.
  7. I wasn't even talking about Mr. Neumann (which is bad enough, being who he is), but about supposed MSFS users (new ones? from xbox? I don't know...) who don't understand the problem/do not even use it/think about using it.
  8. I am alarmed by two or three things: people who seem to think that daytime weather is the same as night-time weather; people who have not yet understood the problem... and worst of all: the need to explain why this is important!
  9. I'm going to read that thread. Unfortunately I think the target audience "doesn't care".
  10. I wouldn't say that MSFS is a "children's toy" but rather an "entertainment software". Would you agree? I don't see any problem with that.
  11. I haven't tested and don't intend to buy knowing that one day FSLabs will have their Airbus family on MSFS. But I did see the "interesting" FBW.
  12. I have been testing MSFS and although graphically it is a portent when I add the P3D addons I don't find the latter "much worse". -offline ATC (fingers crossed that FSHud works out). -Capability to direct AI traffic to a certain runway. -chaseplane (I can't deal with the MSFS camera system, sorry). -FSLabs... -Historical weather. In the end I ask myself "is it worth abandoning Prepar3D v5.3?" and my answer is "no". And notice, I wanted MSFS to work out in my case. I think it needs more development and two or three addons... despite the good things that are undeniable, it is still not enough (FROM MY POINT OF VIEW). PS: But I insist, P3D v5.3 may be my last P3D.
  13. You know what I think? with the competition that exists it no longer makes sense all the silence of LM about future versions of P3D. On one side we have marketing and openness to increase or maintain the hype. On the other discouraging silence... I repeat, not justified. Even Laminar is actively showing what they want with XP12. "Stick with us and keep betting on the platform because we will get this, and this and this" or say "version 5.4 will improve this and this and this". It's ridiculous. Nowadays with all the marketing in the competition it's stupid.
  14. Hum... I don't think so... I know this is niche but I would say that MSFS was (is) a sales success. But about that: what would happen "if"? same thing would happen if OrbX stops supporting Prepar3D (via OrbX Central) or even PMDG with their activation system.
  15. Hello everyone. Do you still recommend Steam? And in your opinion are the quality of the airports in the Premium Deluxe version worth?
  16. Is it that difficult or complex to make an EXE for v5?
