You know what I think? with the competition that exists it no longer makes sense all the silence of LM about future versions of P3D. On one side we have marketing and openness to increase or maintain the hype. On the other discouraging silence... I repeat, not justified. Even Laminar is actively showing what they want with XP12. "Stick with us and keep betting on the platform because we will get this, and this and this" or say "version 5.4 will improve this and this and this". It's ridiculous. Nowadays with all the marketing in the competition it's stupid.

Hum... I don't think so... I know this is niche but I would say that MSFS was (is) a sales success. But about that: what would happen "if"? same thing would happen if OrbX stops supporting Prepar3D (via OrbX Central) or even PMDG with their activation system.

Texture Quality in Nvidia Control Panel or AMD "Control Panel"?

I am very satisfied with Prepar3D 5.3 and have no intentions of using MSFS at this time. I could have both side by side, but I don't need to. One thing I've noticed is that a lot of people now using the new 737 (mostly streamers) seem like they didn't know or even use P3D. They either stuck with FSX or used XP, but they don't even mention P3D (one of them mentioned DCS, which is something else....). Hum... PS: <--- That was in P3D, not MSFS.

Do I need a HDR monitor to use Prepar3D's HDR? Mine monitor don't have that....

I have the UK2000 version but it seems to be so old... Reading your comments made me want to commit sacrilege and buy the Aerosoft version (even if it won't be supported anymore because they want to force me to switch to MSFS but I DON'T WANT TO AND I'M NOT INTERESTED!!!!).
