  1. Looks good, but it is missing RWY 11/29, but an updated AFCAD here in the library should take care of that. KJ
  2. You might see some benefit from an upgraded video card (e.g. GTS 250). KJ
  3. Try updating/changing your video card drivers. KJ
  4. If the blue screen keep occurring, you might need to bump up your memory voltage. I would suggest going to your memory mfg help forum, give them your configuration, and they can tell you if you need to make some voltage adjustments in the BIOS. KJ
  5. Not sure if the above included making sure you don't have any empty Texture folders in the Addon Scenery folder. KJ
  6. I would suggest you calibrate in FSUIPC, just to make sure you are getting full-travel from rudder. KJ
  7. The first thing to do, is to create/save a Flight using something like the default Lear. This flight should be saved just prior to where the CTD occurs, so you can repeat the flight while troubleshooting the problem. After that, it is process of elimination. Start by turning the Graphics down to the minimum, this troubleshoots Autogen scenery problems. If it still CTD after this, try going to Addon Scenery Library and disabling all but the basic Addon SceneryIf it still CTD after this, try renaming the Scenery folder in Addon Scenery, this will troubleshoot a bad AFCAD file. It starts getting ugly after this, when you have to try to Troubleshoot a bad Module in the Module Folder, or something in the Aircraft folder. Reinstalling and carefully exporting the old files to the new installation till you find the problem works too. KJ
  8. Is there an error message?Check your fs9.cfg file for "SITUATION=" and see if what is entered there is a valid path. I believe the default location is C:\Users\<your name>\Documents\Flight Simulator FilesMake sure you are start fs9 in Administrator mode. Just in case it is a permissions issue, where it can't write to the folder location. KJ
  9. In the aircraft.cfg file, look for the below:vertical_speed_time_constant = 1Try setting it to 10 or perhaps 100. KJ
  10. Interesting. I had to dump my PIC 737 last week for the same reason. I was getting 60-70 fps upon startup in the 737, buy the time I got ready to taxi, I was down with 8 fps. I flown it since I installed Win7 64, maybe I missed it. My other Wilco (ERJ and Airbus) still work great. KJ
  11. You need to use nHancer, try the guide from NickN here:http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_post...D=156769#156769KJ
  12. You should have no problems with LevelD, PMDG 747, Wilco 737 and the ERJ aircraft. KJ
  13. Same problem here with Win 7 64. To get back to windows, try ALT-TAB, to open window in FS9 (i.e FSNav), open using the key like you normally would, when the sound alters or screen flashes, then press Alt, it should then work. KJ
  14. Many Win 7 64 user complain of this in FS2004. No solution yet, you can try right clicking on fs9.exe and disable visual theme, and/or desktop compilation, it has worked for some, not for me. KJ
  15. Its more than that when you start slowing down to go to Flaps 1, I'd guess 8-9 degs. Be careful of edits to fix this, there will be a trade off somewhere. May not be too bad, but it will impact some other part of the flight envelope. KJ

    windows 7

I cured my high altitude lockups with Win 7 64 by upgrading the the latest bios. Still battling low altitude prior to landing lockups. :(KJ
  17. I don't swap mine every flight, what is there when i start the sim and download weather looks good enough for me. KJ
  18. Shockingly good. :( I'm sorry you are having problems. Yes I would imagine there is a point where it could drag a system down, but I have not heard many complain of this. What are your system specs? This could help someone else.KJ
  19. It means you have to update your boot.ini and modify your fs9.exe file. Just do a search here, we have covered this topic at least twice a week for the past couple years. KJ
  20. Maybe you should install the 9.1 patch.http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...;displaylang=enKJ
  21. Advertising the processor at 6.2 GHZ is misleading at best. The processor is comparable to the Intel Core 2 Duo E7600, which will run FS9 well. Throw tons of add-ons flying over a dense city, and it could really slow it down.KJ
  22. You have a motherboard with Crossfire (ATI), and a single Nvidia card. While it will run the NV card just fine, this seems odd. Unless you are planning to add two ATI cards, save some $$ and go with non-Crossfire/SLI motherboard. KJ
