  1. Wow I am really happy this is working out, we have a great community on here
  2. All good my friend, when moving to a new place those relations are built over time, I feel really positive you are in a good place to make it work, and I'll give a little prayer too 😎
  3. Hi Fr Bill, I tried to post earlier but I have had about as crazy a week as you did but without consequence, I have donated $50 from New Zealand so that should work out to about $397 for me due to really bad exchange rates 🤣 I know two things in this world, number one when you move to a new place it takes time to meet people and build those relationships, number two your car is awesome and has many years ahead, also an abundance of spare parts, especially from the rear because mostly they get damaged from front end collisions and you end up with excess spare parts for the rear. Point is if you shop around and get to know more folks I bet you can find a better price, and if this fundraiser exceeds that price to fix your car take some time for yourself because you deserve that too my friend 😇
  4. I am only about half way through this series and I've lost interest, so I am watching Deep Space 9 because I didn't get a chance to see it when it first came out due to being busy with school at that time. The Picard series made me interested in Worf once again and as he does eventually play a big part in DS9 I am excited to be able to watch it all for the first time, so far it is much better then the modern stuff. I will admit this quote has become one of my favourite in Star Trek of all time: I am Worf, son of Mogh, House of Martok, son of Sergei, House of Rozhenko, Bane to the Duras Family, slayer of Gowron. I have made some chamomile tea. Do you take sugar? 🤣 Yep Worf is the best to bad they didn't give Michael Dorn a spinoff
  5. I remember Flight Unlimited ATC and Taxi guidance system was revolutionary (something that MSFS later adopted). The Flight Characteristics were better. The Photogenic Scenery wasn't anything new but the quality in FU was far better due to being a limited to a smaller area. Yes I spent many hours in it, with the second and third release not so much. The Flight Sim Community gained a lot from FU raising the bar at that time.
  6. Welcome Back Noel, hope all is well
  7. Their is only one way for the cup to be empty, and that is if it was floating in space 🤣
  8. I've been reading these comments the past few days with a smile. Not sure where I heard this it came up on a YouTube recently so I used it is a motivation in my workplace, but the message to be positive is the point of it. And to settle the debate yes Air is a Fluid too, the semantics are what makes this fun
  9. Yep that's cool, I can see it changing Canadian Laws are always changing to accommodate industry, I wouldn't be surprised their current or former fleet the Electra or the DC3 or DeHaviland's were one time military aircraft. Even a lot of Beavers and Otters where once used by different military back in the day.
  10. I wasn’t saying Buffalo specifically, there are other operations above 60 and Bombardier / DeHavilland played a big part in that history, going forward the C130 will fill a void, if not with Buffalo then someone else. Buffalo isn’t the monopoly above 60 and above 60 they are all very resourceful with all tools available, including all kinds of surplus military aircraft from many generations
  11. Yep that’s my understanding as well, if this 737 got a gravel kit that would be a first, but as said in the video it won’t, I suspect they will end up with surplus C130’s up in the arctic above the 60th parallel for gravel ops because they are best suited moving forward, high bypass won’t work, those engines are far too expensive and too low to be ingesting gravel
  12. The Cup was always full in the first place, because even when it was entirely empty of water it was always filled with Air, therefore that question was always flawed, real answer it was always full in the first place with a combination of water and air or no water and all air and all water and no air, the cup has never been empty Therefore always be positive because it was never empty to begin with 😎
  13. Depends on what addons you use, I am heavy on PMDG therefore P3D is the better platform to continue with, transitioning to MSFS would be costly for me. I do have MSFS for fun with GA Aircraft for something else to do from time to time, but with next to no addons the standard version offers enough for me
  14. They did an update video, the new 737 won't be getting a gravel kit. The Electra will still fly into the gravel strips and the 737 will be feeding cargo onto the Electra routes
  15. My comment was tongue and cheek but yea I bet they are just testing with a fraction of the full deluge, the next Launch Test will be the real test
  16. I don’t know, I think it’s gonna need more water
  17. The other thing missing in GSX are the Lav Trucks (Poop Truck). I've mentioned it on their forums before but up until now I've never seen a Poop Truck simulated on Flight Simulator. I guess AI doesn't like simulated poop 🤣
  18. For me Being There is my favourite, I remember seeing it decades ago in the local independent cinemas and only a small handful of us were laughing at it, a lot of people just didn't get that kind of comedy. I also saw The Party at the same cinema and everyone laughed at that one, you couldn't make a movie like The Party anymore.
  19. Chauncy Gardner always does it better 🤣
  20. I like the livery it looks awesome, he doesn't mention gravel kits but I am certain it will get one. It still has its European registry in that video but the Canadian Reg will be C-FBAE Looking at it's history it was purchased by Piedmont Airlines in 1986 then sold to US Air in 1989, it was converted to cargo in 2006
  21. AI Learns from the bottom denominator in society that post constantly to Twitter or other online activity, meanwhile the ones you can learn the most from only check their email once a month and have the most to offer with knowledge in offline activity, therefore not readily accessible by AI
  22. I just saw that Kapla Tower this morning, that one is really impressive, and the way they triggered the collapse with a domino effect was fun to watch
  23. I've been on Flight Sims since around 1983 and 99% of the time when I invite someone to have a go on my sim, they just want to crash into something and laugh and do it again, and maybe try to land it. Rarely do you find a hard core simmer that wants to use the sim as intended or take it to the next level, lets face it we are a rare breed
  24. Those early releases were using existing products that they brought over from previous versions, if you look back at FSX that was first released in 2006 it wasn't really until 2010 to 2011 that we saw worthy new development, so about 5 years. Currently we are only 3 years into a new platform. Development by third party has always taken years, mostly because the developers have full time jobs and lives and do development on the side when and where they can. Very few can make a full time job out of this.
