  1. As mentioned in the tutorial by Ryan, the only way to get out of APP mode is either to press TOGA or turn off (and back on if you want) the FDs.
  2. There we go!When is the release date???? :(
  3. I think the same applies for many other buttons or switches. Guess that's why the checklists are for.You cannot blaim the machine for an operator's failure!
  4. Guys you might wanna have a look here: http://forum.simflight.com/topic/66139-updated-modules/I use the latest varsion with FSUIPC weather to off and DWC in AS2012 and never had any problems. Might be worth trying!
  5. You should also check the tutorial that comes with the NGX!

  7. I don't think that your download link has expired just one day after the purchase. Try log-in your account in the PMDG page to check if it's still there.
  8. Just realised that I must lower my joystick's sensitivity quite significantly! Never thought that the real thing requires so big (and rapid) hand movements...
  9. Fred said that instead of typing the entire EEL/-15 string you must downselect "EEL" and then type "/-15" next to it.
  10. I thnk it'd be better for your system (especially if you overclock it) to get smth like Corsair H80 or H100. Much better cooling for your CPU and not a really big fuss to install.
  11. IIRC the IC values for the NG are much lower at the range of 20 to 30...
  12. Just being curious... Why is this not allowed?
  13. Never heard of that!I always take-off and fly -at least- up to 400 AGL with AP off and A/T on. Don't think it's bad to do so as long as you follow the FD.
  14. I won't list any parts, as I'll let others who know better to do this. However one thing I've understood (and please correct me if I'm wrong) from following this forum for quite some time is that what's best for FSX might not be good for more modern games and vice versa. In any case 2k is a enough to make a really good rig. Good luck and enjoy the results! :(
  15. Can't imagine what the [censored] are (wish for an Airbus), but IIRC there was a separate team in place for the Dash quite a long time ago. In any case one SP, one variant, the T7 and two new projects is more than good news.Thumbs up!
  16. Insulted huh? Basic cosmic rule: You reap what you sow!
  17. @ AndrewYou could 've just written the last two lines! I don't get such an attitude! If you were a woman I'd assume you're having your 'tough' days... so what's wrong with you?
  18. Of course it is possible. You can use some REX textures (eg water) and some AS2012 ones (eg clouds). As for the weather engine... it's your choice again.I have finally purchased AS2012 but I still use some of the REX textures that I like. Since I've paid for both it doesn't really cost me anything to keep them installed in my HD :(
  19. AS2012Antarctica X (wow!)Carenado Grand CaravanHoliday Airports by AerosoftCorfu XThinking of ORBX NZ and waiting for pfpx and FSL Airbus...That's for me. For the kids don't ask!!!
  20. Subject to the AS2012 being better than the REX ones. Otherwise AS2012 will be used only as the weather engine, which ASE does pretty well already.I agree with James that 40 Euros is too much for people that already have REX!
  21. I own both REX and ASE and am a bit confused whether the additional 40 Euros for AS2012 is really worth it, especially considering the FREE update that's about to come:http://www.realenvironmentxtreme.com/forums/index.php?/topic/14715-announcing-rex-essential/I mean how much better can the AS2012 textures be than the REX ones to justify this amount? Or will the weather engine be so much improved that will really make a difference?Since now I've never had any problems as I used REX for texture and ASE for weather, but now I'm totally confused. Money doesn't fall from the sky and I really don't want to spend 40 Euros for something that won't make any simming difference or I might not use whatsoever.Any ideas or recommendations are appreciated.
  22. Just make sure that FTX is deactivated while you load REX textures. Otherwise there's no reason to have problems. REX textures are global and FTX are location specific. As a reference to the OPs question though I'd like to comment that at overcast weather the large number of clouds does have a FPS hit, at least on mid to low rigs! In any case (subject to what AS2012 will offer) it's a must-have, especially with the current discount!!!
