  1. Re download the latest version from your FSS account.
  2. Very strange, just done a search of the Microsoft Knowledge Base for KB31777723....."No result found for KB31777723".....was the answer. So not sure what you have there Egyptian or otherwise. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/search?query=KB31777723
  3. Probably easier to let it finish its install routine. The update its self will not be recognisable within the Temp folder. It will have a 20+ character designation in all probability. Then uninstall it after you have rebooted. Should be listed in Programs & Features if you click on "view installed updates"....top left hand corner. Keep an eye out for the KB****** when you go looking for Updates next time and un-tick the checkbox.
  4. "uninstall Global entirely." Not sure why anyone would want to once you have it on board. I deleted the Backup within hours of making the change, about three years ago.
  5. I take it you mean driver version 372.54 released 15 08 2016. Thanks for the H U Ron. Will give it a miss & stick with what I have, 368.22
  6. What can I say, stunning stuff Sascha.
  7. If you have it installed in FSX you will find all your agn files within the Texture folder, next to the Scenery folder, as follows :- Eng/Wales****************************************************************within 2.4m Photo folder Scottish Mainland********************************************************within 0.5m Photo folder Scottish Islands**********************************************************Vol4 within 0.6m Photo folder Scottish Islands**********************************************************Vol5 PhotoTerrain folder Any agn files you may have from other sources for Ireland**********1m Photo folder Be aware that if you use ES Trees, which is a collection of agn files; they are placed in the same locations and will be overwritten by the RevX files. (The agn files are placed within a numbered grid system, so you can only have one agn file at any given location. It's a case of either/or, not both) All other ADDONS for the GenX scenery should be placed above the above list, within the Scenery Library, eg. UK ANNO, REFINERIES, POWER PROJECT etc.
  8. You are better of creating an all in one install of your Gen-X. It is a lot of work but well worth it. You can then do the same with the Texture folders for Rev-X. Placing them in the appropriate layers. The finished folder structure would look like this, as apposed to the Default Gen-X folder structure that you have:- ENG/WALES Vol 1,2,3. 60cm Photo 1.2m Photo 2.4m Night 2.4m Photo 4.8m Mesh IRELAND Vol 9 & 10 10m Mesh Airports 1m Photo Vectors Scottish Mainland Vol 6,7,8. 05m Photo Airports Vectors 5m DTM Scottish Islands Vol 4 & 5 (vol5) NIGHT (Vol5) Photo Terrain (Vol4) 06m Night (Vol4) 06m Photo (Vol4) 4.8m Mesh (Vol4) Airports Not for the faint of heart, so give it a lot of thought before you start.
  9. Well, the DEED is done....and it looks good. 1. Defragged system. 2. Opened and Updated central. 3. closed Central. 4. Installed Libs 160708 (from earlier download). 5. Started and then closed Sim. 6. Defragged system. 7. Opened Central and ran Migration. 8. Ran TroubleShooter.exe (Everything Green). 9. Ran Force Migration (just to be sure) 10. Defragged system. 11. Started Sim. 10. Checked OLC still below all FTX in Scenery Library (it was). 12. Opened Sim (desktop to Free Flight 1.5min. (Full ORBX catalogue installed and active). 13. Free Flight to Runway (2.05min). 14. VAS usage at Cardiff (EGFF) 1.8GB. 15. After 90min of flight at 4500ft VAS usage 2.1GB. 16. No stutters, no blurries and at time of writing no misplaced textures. 17. All looks very sweet.
  10. You've convinced me to give the migration a try Mitch. Wife is out on Monday, so will crack on with it then. Just in case I feel the need to get vocal !!
  11. The Folders can be anywhere you choose. The order in the Scenery Library should be as follows, ABOVE the entry for Addon Scenery:- Local Meshes AFR EUR NAM CSA ASI ANT OCE AddonScenery
  12. I still use FS 2004....alongside FSX but not for flying. I have all the AI traffic maxed out and go plane spotting at really busy Hubs. Yea, ok, so I need treatment...but I enjoy the odd 60 min break from the norm. Get some great screenies too. Would not be able to do it in FSX or P3D with the same fluidity.
  13. Many thanks Scott. All your work is much appreciated. Have downloaded all 37 files from Google at a very reasonable 8Mbs. All unzipped but as yet not installed. Thanks again.
  14. No need to enter all the WRAPPER info again if the software has already been installed on the machine. Your Registry holds all the data.
  15. Doubt it....you could try Night Environment British Isles from Aerosoft...that does work & very well.
  16. Which would indicate that the problem lies with the Addons and your system, rather than the scenery.
  17. Have a read of this and tune your system before spending more money:- http://www.simforums.com/Forums/the-fsx-computer-system-the-bible-by-nickn_topic46211.html
  18. There are compatibility issues with autogen between France VFR and Orbx sceneries. Perhaps you have Global and or EUlandclass installed ? Though you have stated that other FVFR are working fine, so maybe I am barking up the wrong tree. Know what you mean about their forums. Very little support for the non French speakers, that's why I never purchased beyond FS9 sceneries many years ago. Great shame really, very nice scenery.
  19. OOpps! sorry sascha, thought you had already grabbed them and removed the link. Will redo it later before I leave. Here you are:- https://www.dropbox.com/s/b3kr1xgc0cdur01/FS9_IMAGES%20%20plus%20current%20cfg.rar?dl=0
  20. Going away for the weekend. so have just run these off & sent them to Dropbox. https://www.dropbox.com/s/3h9847bzwjnnrj6/FS9_IMAGES%20%20plus%20current%20cfg.rar?dl=0
  21. "Planespotting".....LOL Yes it's a bit of light relief to sit and watch as apposed to sitting in the cockpit paying attention to everything. Saves me having to stand in the wind & rain at Manchester (EGCC) Aviation Viewing Park  Yes, sure. Will sort something out over the weekend.
