Sort of. Military Pilot. I guess I don't have a little bubble to choose from.

WestJet to add helium to all 737NG flights to lighten aircraft

Here is another one from WestJet -
I know they forbid us from taking photos in our sims, so I am not surprised that they wouldn't let you. I am rather jealous though! Can't wait to see the pictures! Nick

Now this is what a real "full motion platform" is like!
19dcavscout replied to n4gix's topic in Hangar Chat
That looks awesome! My only gripe is if you watch it carefully, it seems like the motion lags behind the screen a bit. I am sure there is a bit more work to be done, but I think that would make me sick. -
Still nothing here. I am using WIN 8 64bit and have used several of the compatibility modes.

I use both the NGX and the MD-11, along with numerous other add-ons and have never had a problem running Windows 8. In fact, FSX has never run so smooth and stable for me. I know not everyone is experiencing the same with W8, but I don't want people to think its all bad.

LOL! I can definitely see the resemblance!

http://forum.avsim.net/topic/401146-cost-index-explained/ Cost index is explained pretty good here by Boeing. Shows lots of different uses for various CI for different aircraft.

Looks great!

I would imagine mission loading of some sort or possible data recording (Gun camera?). In the OH-58D we use what looks like some compact flash card for that reason and others.

I know several US Army Helicopters use the same type of technology for terrain avoidance. Some do have a sort of terrain radar, but I am not familiar with them. So the Civilian market is not alone to use this!

Having so much flying this aircraft! FSX has needed a good Tomcat for a while. Love it!

Awesome set of pictures!

Awesome video! I can't wait till my son is a bit older to be able to take him up. Every time he sees a helicopter he points to it and says "Daddy flies!"

I purchased the QW757 about a week and a half ago and I have run into a problem. No matter what I do, I cannot load payload into any slots other than the Top Front Hold and Top Mid Hold sections. I have used the livery manager as well as gone into the fuel and payload menu within FSX. When I attempt to load the weight manually, it causes the aircraft to "resettle" as if weight is applied, but then immediately goes back to the weight it was. The only way to add weight is to put all of the weight in the Top Mid Hold section, but the CG tends to be a bit far forward. Both FSX and the Livery Manager have admin rights and I have installed FSX into C:/FSX so I do not think its a rights problem. All other aircraft I am able to load payloads just fine. I posted this over on the QW support forums about a week ago, but have not gotten any responses from the developers, so I figured I would try here. Any ideas? Thank you. Nick

Good story!

Are you serious? How can you possibly use that effectively. And I thought the one in the OH-58D was bad!

Yeah, starting is the easiest part in that thing. Make sure the fuel valve is on and thats it. -

We do the exact same thing in the 58D. Increase throttle to idle, press and hold the start switch for two seconds, and wait for the FADEC to start it. Since they both use the same engine and FADEC, I figured it was the same for the 407. -

And don't I look dumb! Yes one of those! I don't know where my head was. -

I am assuming he means an automatic detection finder, to find NDBs -
