  1. Looks like he still has to use the virtual overhead panel. Nice setup btw.
  2. Reading the manual, or even playing around with the FMC options would have helped.
  3. The MD-11 is my favorite aircraft of all time (both RW and PMDG). Beatiful plane. Saddly, my chances of flying on the real thing are very thin. The NGX is amazing, and I'm sure the T7 will be mind-blowing, but the MD11 will still have a warm spot here. One thing that I red somewhere, is that the MD11 has a poor safety record, specially on landings...
  4. Maybe the same MCP, but there are some small differences between the first two photos. Highlighted in yellow:
  5. KBFI (btw, we need a good scenery for it) to SBGR in TAM colors.
  6. Nice shot Steve. Just an observation though. The real wing seems a lot more flexed. Or not?
  7. Nice graphics. Is that REX? Just kidding. Awesome photo.
  8. I still have the MD-11 and the Queen installed, as it's nice to fly them once in a while. I still have as much fun flying the MD-11 as I have with the NGX. That MD is awesome.
  9. A2A Accu-feel Global FSX enhancement will give you all the extra sounds you want.
  10. Long before the NGX, we hadn't a decent NG for FSX, so you either had to adapt, or keep using FS9. So, one day I sat in front of my oc, and started fooling around with porting some of my favorite planes to FSX. I was able to get the FS9 NG and the F1 727, which kept me happy until I had better options available. In one word, yes, you can do it. Will it be 100% functional? No. But it will do. Today, with the NGX available, I wouldn't even consider porting the FS9 version to FSX. Not even if it was 100% functional. Just buy the NGX, and then have the finest FSX aircraft of all time.
  11. The FS9 737-700 is compatible with FSX after some tweaks.
  12. I will trade your friends "old computer" for my "new computer" any time. Your pc will handle the NGX just fine.
  13. I also experienced this. Doesn't seem to harm the plane at all though.
  14. The Manager of flight operations of Westjet said that they will do the winglet modification to the 737-600 once the certification is done. Apparently, from the pic above of the -600 C-GWCQ, the certification is now fully available. Also according to the Westjet Manager, those winglets are provided by Boeing itself. The WestJet Manager declaration was from the Just Planes - World Air Routes WestJet 737-700 video, right around the 1:57:00 mark.
  15. Only one 777 developer can give PMDG fits, and that is The Boeing company itself. Nevertheless, I am still going for the PMDG product.
