  1. First test flight was Salt Lake City to San Francisco. No problems at all. Last night was Los Angeles to Dubai in Emirates colors. Right now it is about half way between Dubai and London. Having a great time!
  2. I'm looking forward to the new tutorial, as that UNS confuses me as I am not used to it. Enjoying it though, although there is a learning curve. Someone asked about cruise altitudes. The Q400 is certified to 25,000 feet, 27,000 feet if it has a passenger oxygen system.
  3. I love it. It is a great add-on. A challenge to learn, but worth it as it is different.A great simulation of an era when there was no GPS. Plus you have to think of the airplane, and the passengers too, which is great. I fly mostly trans-pacific with it, Hawaii, Midway, Wake, Guam, and on to Japan.
  4. Great shots! Love that paint job.
  5. I've tried to do some SFO to Hawaii using the A2A B377 (without looking at the map). I've also tried a flight of one heading, trying to take into account wind and weather. I've got some old navigation books and they speak of pressure pattern flight and I would like to try that, but not sure if FSX would do it. There was also a FS9 sextant and wind drift gauge that I'd like to learn to use. I need to get back into it more. But since my attempts got me lost, I kind of forgot about it.
  6. Great shots ! Who's Lear 23 is that? I've been looking for one.
  7. I have all the PMDG planes, and I like MD-11 because it is different. Sure it is older so not as fancy of a VC like the NGX, but it still looks good. It's systems are so different, that is what makes it interesting. For example the FMS on the 747 and 737 are somewhat similar but the MD-11 is completely different, more automated. I like to do long haul flights, and the MD-11 is great for that.
  8. Great shots! Just started flying these this weekend. Great planes, well done.
  9. Great scenery and a great airplane. Wonderful shots!
  10. I have both. The C-130 is a older product. The B377 by far is much more in depth. Captain of the Ship is like nothing else in flight simulator. I recommend all of A2A's products. You can't beat their realism. The C-130 is still fun though if you want a quick fly around. Expect a learning curve with the B377. But well worth it.
  11. For me, the DC-6 first (just for something different), then the 777 to get the PMDG treatment of this aircraft, then the 747. But I know sooner or later I'll get them all.
  12. I've enjoyed many of the Virtavia (and former Alphasim) aircraft. Some are light, and no PMDG, but I enjoy the fact that they do aircraft no one else will touch. Some are older aircraft reworked. I like the new FB-111 and Sea King. I've owned most of their older stuff and I have enjoyed it all. Sometimes for me I just want to have fun in the sim and not worry about 100% details. I've enjoyed the EA-6B and A-6, the F-104, the C-17, and the A-3 among others.
  13. I had this same problem and it was also effecting the default GPS. Pressing D worked for me.
