  1. Here are some pics of my latest flight KATL-VABB in the Air India 777-300ER. I couldnt get any pics of the landing cause the graphics went all weird and blurry - couldnt see anything.   3. Everybody wants the -300ER because it holds a very comparable amount of pax. To the 744, has the same type of range and costs 30-45% less to operate for the airlines. It's also a whole lot more efficient. Remy Mermelstein 777-300 FS Pilot
  4. I go every year to Jamaica during presidents week JFK-MBJ. It is always the same flight, same aircraft and I usually sit in the same seats. Anyway, I always ask when boarding and when leaving the aircraft to be able to say hi to the captain, or sit in the cockpit for a bit and I usually am allowed to do so. I just ask politely and they are nice. Delta is a very nice Airline. I also have a friend who lives in NY and does alot of travelling with his family and he always posts pictures and videos of himself in the cockpit on AAL aircraft during preflight and takeoff, and sometimes during cruise, I dont know how he does it. He has also been up in the tower at JFK which I dont get either, maybe its because he goes to the Aviation High school in Queens? ) Anyway, if you ask politely and are nice and dont act weird than you should get in. Pilots are nice people, they aren't the ones who make the rules.
  5. I activated it when I downloaded it, and it worked succesfully for 4 days.
  6. So everything was working fine last weekend when I flew the 744 last, but now whenever I try to fly it all the displays except for the FMC go blank after about 1-2 minutes. When it happens all the systems are on, and working and there are no warnings or errors or anything like that. I have tried starting as cold and dark, starting with engines on, off, everything, they just refuse to stay on. What do I do? ~Remy
  7. I believe that the V2 wont take as long because they already have the V1. From my understanding the V2 will be incorporating the NGX technologies and looks, but will still retain much of the same stuff as the v1. it will basically be a re-done touched up and cleaned version of the v1. I dont think they are starting from scratch like with the 777.

  9. I did (just for fun) a flight in the 777-200LR a couple of days ago from Quito Ecuador east straight along the equator. I took off with maximum fuel capacity and just pilots w/ crew for payload. I made it just past a little island in Micronesia when my engines cutoff from no fuel. That was over 12,000 miles. Remy Mermelstein 777-300 FS Pilot

  14. I usually do this too, but I would like some way of logging my landing information with my flight logger. With this program I can obtain that exact information. Otherwise I can always tell how the landing was just by the feel of it. Tonight I landed at ZBAA in the 777-200ER and I was very light and the aircraft just wouldnt set down and we floated down to entry point W5 nearly 1/2 way down the runway before it set down. Very dissapointing....

  17. Haha +1. s I agree with all this especially your part about us simmers. I bet if we were real world pilots we would like the ER better. It will be nice to see the real differences when PMDG's comes out...
  18. Ok, I was saying I didnt think it had the capabilities because it is not a motorized throttle. I am wrong. I will check that setting next time I fly the 744 (should be saturday) Thanks.
  19. The only throttle I have is on my Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick. I dont think it has that capability to override the A/T system. I will check that setting anyway next time I fly the 747.

  21. I leave it ALL ALL ALL, but it isn't really organized. Because most of my aircraft are freeware the names are all messed up and weird so I might have 20 777's in the different liveries and they are all over the folder as 777-232ER, or 777-200ER and other names different for each livery. I am afraid to change the names of the folders and aircraft names though to organize it because I don't know if the aircraft will still work in FSX. Remy Mermelstein 777-300 FS Pilot
