The double PSU is designed to be unther the gate so thats why the position is used. If you select the single PSU it will be placed somewhere else to simulate remote stand parking. You can use that one for airstairs.

No. It almost looks like you are running the program without admin rights, UAC enabled? or the folder is read only. Maybe your virusscanner is blocking things as well.

The B777 will message Unsufficient fuel when the estimated fuel will get into reserves. Seems to be alright although I round these figures always up. So in my case 6.1

For me the B777 is the best thing ever since I started FS98 a long time ago. :-) It got me back to FSX.

As per PFPX 1.08 you can upload the .wx file to the B777!

Home at EDDP from EGNX and planned for EDDP to EDDF tomorrow. There it will stay until its flight to KORD again.

Ive tested my changes but it still froze so now and then. Today a new flight without problems. Only thing different was that I did setup the flightplan by hand and didn't import it. Maybe it was luck I don't know but I leave it like this. It is acceptabele for me for now.

I have experienced download issues as well from the site. Logging out and back in fixed those for me.

PFPX seems so be using 437 nm for the 60 minute rings for ETOPS entry/exit points. If I set the airports in the fix pages with 437 nm rings they are spot on like the PFPX flightplan.

Yesterdays flight was a big mess with long freezes and eventually a CTD on the final stages of the flight. I then descided I could no longer fly like this so changes were made. The CTD was related by a scenery. After deleting that scenery that was solved. Now the freezes. 1: deleted the realtek drivers as prompted on the forum. 2: cleaned dll.cfg and exe.cfg 3: tuned my FSX setup (smooth running cockpit now) Still had little hangups though so other things needed to be done. 4: disabled FSUIPC autosafe feature Little hangups were now solved 5: i noticed I had more then 3000 autosafe files in the PMDG 777 panelstate folder which I deleted all. Problem seemed to be solved for me now. Did a test flight from EDDP to ENGX without any problems. Even the little hangups were gone. Note though that this was a small test flight and only one so far. I think my problems were related to the autosafe and massive panelstate database. Especially the last one because the problem seemed to get worse after each flight with the database growing and growing offcourse. I will test more tomorrow on a long flight. If all goes well I will try to reinstall things to see if I can repoduce these problems.

What values? The ETOPS value itself is default 120 on the PFPX 777 bit if you have an aircraft / Airline that is certified for ETOPS 180 or more you can change it in the aircraft settings (aircraft database, edit aircraft). If you have done that it will become availible on the ETOPS planning tab while planning your flight.

FSX crashed yesterday after TOD with me. After loading the auto-save it crashed on short finals and it kept crashing there. I could not finish the 10 hour flight. The end result was deleting the scenery of the airport. I used it before without problems but it turned its back to me on this flight. After deleting the scenery I reloaded the saved flight data and all was fine again. All to show that it can be caused by anything you don't really expect. Maybe this scenery got corrupted somehow. To solve these kind of issues the best thing you can do is go back in time. Remember your last FSX change or addon you installed. Remove/undo it and try again. Good luck

My MD-11 is getting some rest while we planning to face it out in a short while.

I flew the PMDG 747 years ago because there wasn't much that offered the same level of realism. Later on LVL-D 767 and years after that the MD-11. Now the B777 is out there will be no plane add-on for me for a long while. I don't care much about the B747 anyway because the B777 is my airplane. Got to love those engines and the sounds coming from it. :wub: I will skip the B747 V2 :ph34r:

I think that is more an Avsim "problem" because it is happening all the time lately. OT: It should just start while on battery power. Maybe your batteries were dead/drained

I didn't had much trouble in my first flights with the 777 but now it seems to hang every flight for some time (5 till 10 minutes). The first time it happened I was on a OMDB-KSFO route over Greenland and restarted FSX (Killing FSX). I thought it was caused by REX because that was the first time I used it again and the next flight it happened as well but todays flight was without REX. At least now I know that if you don't touch the sim it won't crash.

Speed brakes and planning your way down. Today on my flight I descended a little early with V/S to get unther the track the FMC had me planned on untill my first altitude speed restriction. From that point on I was able to VNAV my way around with the use of speedbrakes when I needed to slow down. On finals the gear adds a lot of drag to slow the rest down.
