Constant freezing in flight with 777
I've had the long freezes as well with the 777 and NGX. Mine tend to last a couple seconds to 15 minutes. I won't force shut down because I know it will come back. After setting affinity mask as mentioned in another post I still have the issue. Last night EGLL-KLAX was 11 hours and had 6 9 minutes freezes.

no wind direction and wind speed
Winds were fine for me yesterday with the sp1b. However, after landing no brakes. No failure shown in the FMC and all pressures were good. -Justin

Biulding a home cockpit around the 737ngx
I'm running a evga GeForce 660ti graphics card i5 3750 processor more ram then windows 7 can use. The captain pfd and nd are one monitor, overhead another, and FO pfd/nd a third. They are on the triple head to go which is connected to one dvi port. The eicas is on my DP slot, projector on the HDMI. I have the FDS FMC on the second dvi port. Works great. I thought about the touch screen but I don't believe it will work. Because of the left/right click issue. Justin whetstone Here's the monitor mounted overhead. Justin whetstone

A question for real world NG drivers
When I worked at southwest all the aircraft were cold and dark for the crews if they were at the gate overnight. The only aircraft not cold and dark were the ones parked off the gate somewhere. Those would have the APU going when the crew got there. We were not a maintenance base so the first person in the cockpit certified to get her ticking was the flight crew or one of the few certified "brake riders". These were normally ramp supervisors that were trained to power up the APU and use the hydraulic systems in order to be towed to/from remote parking. Justin whetstone

Emergencies? GET OUT!
Exactly what I recall happening the most. Ridiculous emergencies that were declared BEFORE there was even software that would randomly give you an emergency situation. It happened all the time and was just too much. Justin whetstone

Active Sky Next vs OpusFSX
Read through the FAQs and details and didn't see this answered. Is this capable of running from a networked computer or only the FSX computer. I finally got as2012 working networked and want to keep it networked. Justin whetstone

RAT retract
In the ground through the FMC maintenance function. Hard to accidentally press it as you would have to lift the guarded switch then press it. Oops Justin whetstone

Can I Fly from LAX to Honolulu with a 737-800NGX?
Ok you got me. I knew of the AD but didn't realize it was so in depth. I thought it was just to not allow them to run dry. Justin whetstone Is this a specific company SOP? The AD I just read mentions 1000lbs. So with the above example you could use the center pumps for ground and takeoff ops. Just curious. Justin whetstone

Why in the world would you do that? I'm assuming your being sarcastic. Justin whetstone

Fuel pumps are overhead panel lower left side 6 switches and labeled. If you don't switch them off nothing bad will happen in the sim. Justin whetstone

Anyone using Saitek BIP?
I was but stopped using it. The lights were not reliable. They would turn off when selecting any light on or off. Some warnings that show as simulated didn't work at all. To be honest I didn't trouble shoot much because it just wasn't worth the time. Justin whetstone
