  1. Asobo should probably be a little more cautious with public release dates in future. Contrary to their own statement, SU15 was not "originally" scheduled for March 26, but for March 12. Don't get me wrong, I think it's wise to postpone an SU/WU if there are issues that need to be fixed, but this isn't the first time an update has been postponed multiple times, so why announce a public release date so early before the public beta has even started?
  2. Sorting the prices on the Justflight website by high to low, it seems to be somewhere around $48, which is steeper than I expected, but fair compared to the A2A Comanche IMO. Not sure how they'll handle the bundle.
  3. It's a joke because we already have a lenghty thread about it here.
  4. I am a little bummed that they'll use the same beta implementation as in the TBM. If you're using a normal throttle axis you'll need a lot of input before the plane starts moving which feels diametrically opposed to how you'd expect a turboprop to handle on the ground. In my opinion the way FSReborn and SWS have implemented the beta range in the M500/PC12 is much better and I haven't seen anyone complain about it so I'm not sure I agree with the "novices" argument here, especially in a super high fidelity add-on like this. I really hope they'll rethink this or maybe just give us both options.
  5. You're not the first one to make this point but I don't quite understand it. Just hide the tablet if you don't want to see it? The point is that what you hear, feel and see (specifically with the engines) is actually being properly simulated under the hood, the tablet is just a visualisation of that and nobody is forcing you to look at it. All the W&B, static elements stuff is on different pages of the tablet. I don't really need it either by the way, it was very impressive to look at in the A2A Comanche for the first time but it ends up as a bit of a gimmick eventually. It's still nice to have and it's also a great sign that more and more devs are willing to go to these lengths.
  6. Wow, fantastic trailer. Looks really impressive. A worthy successor to the RealAir Dukes and finally some competition for A2A.
  7. Just a few days ago at FSWeekend FBW made it clear that they have no timeframe for the A380 and cannot guarantee a release this year.
  8. The blue tone is probably the result of Reshade or Nvidia filters, this is a screenshot from last month:
  9. In this interview he basically confirms the 757/767 would have been next for P3D.
  10. This is their Discord Server: https://discord.com/invite/jMC3xKzKCJ
  11. This is the dev update from march 1st
  12. I'm glad, It helps with the twitchiness and adds a little bit of "fake" inertia.
  13. Try reducing the reactivity, I have mine set pretty low for the rudder.
  14. Are you 100% sure that the announcements are actually not playing? I had a hard time hearing them in flight as well but they are just pretty quiet even with the PA at max volume, you could try a flight with the MSFS headphone simulation turned on.
  15. They do have ambient light sensors but unsurprisingly there is no way to read that information from MSFS.
  16. It will always be a compromise I guess. This is how it looked like before during daytime in a cloudlayer, I much prefer the new displays over having to constantly adjust the brightness flying in and out of clouds.
  17. How good must it feel for the developers to finally push this update after all that's happened🍺
  18. As Mark said, the Dune splash screen will appear regardless of whether or not you have the Dune add-on and/or SU15b installed.
  19. Yes! Enough with the VLJ's, give me something >$30 million
  20. I'd love to know how many copies of the new P3D Concorde they've sold. I've hardly seen any videos, streams, reviews or general discussions about it. Not necessarily indicative, but it is not a good sign either.
  21. I'm not quite sure what to make of his comment. I watched the video again, and yes, there are a few spots on the windshield (hardly any though, it's super clean still), but based on these few scenes, you can't tell if it's dynamic or not.
  22. He was using stand 27 in the intro, runway 27 in Heathrow and runway 27 in New Delhi...could be a coincidence, could be an Easter egg
  23. Yeah, you're probably right. I reinstalled WU15 and it feels like the stutters have gotten worse again, but not as bad as before, so maybe something else was wrong on my first install. I've been using the dynamic LOD tool since then, and that certainly helps. Hopes are high for the next sim update, the previews looked promising.
