    Loving this! Finding lift and going up using the terrain and other factors is so satisfying, and if I lose it there are ways out Not as good as the promo shots, but I just added a few to the screen shots forum.

    Heading out of Bella Coola, before cutting the engine and finding some natural lift. If it all goes horribly wrong I can turn the engine back on, or in a disaster use the built-in parachute. VSkylabs very wonderful brand new Phoenix in XP11pb17 over Beti-X's amazing scenery.

    Thanks very much JetManHuss :) I can confirm the performance increase. In a test scenario I was getting 17-19fps and now I'm getting 29-33fps. Its now a joy to fly

    This is very good news. I had started to worry that performance might not get much, if any better (not that it is terrible) so this is very welcome. Stutters are the worse thing for me, and when the kids have a go, and naturally choose a fast jet, it gets very bad. Flying the slow stuff, as I only tend to do I get by, but it'll be great to eliminate them. With this, and squashing the last of the visual bugs we will have something very special.

    That's great! hopefully you'll be able squeeze some more performance out of it. I'm running an i5 clocked at 4.4ghz and a GTX1060, which up till now has coped quite well with most scenarios and settings I fly with. This is the first time its really bogged-down for me.

    I have just bought it. I like it very much, but I am losing about 33% in terms of frame rate performance over the FOX and Trike, as well as defaults like the C172. This means I'm dipping into the teens over the other ac's I fly. I have just had a very enjoyable flight seeking out thermals and enjoying the serenity of unpowered flight, but I do hope you are able to optimize the performance in a future update. This is in XP11 pb17.

    Does anyone here with Beti-X's Bella Coola have issues with missing buildings and ground markings in pb17? The rest seems to be there as far as I can tell. EDIT - Sorted the issue. My custom scenery ini had the some of the components in the wrong order. No doubt my fault, although I don't remember touching the beti-x stuff at all. Oh well

    If that is the case then it seems pretty stupid to me. The cockpits looks awful without the shadows, when the sun is still high enough to cast them. Call it a feature, or call it a bug, either way its not right, and having to mess with scripts to fix this sort of thing is just silly I really do wonder about the LR team sometimes

    Its always an amazing place to be, regardless (well, almost) of weather. Maybe you left a day early, as this was the real world weather according the xE as of mid afternoon today - Fri 24th March. It is, and we can make it what we want it to be in XP :) and is always stunning when we can see it.

    Really, its my pleasure :) ..... I think your 3D modeling is already top-notch, but any improvement is always welcome of course. I've never flown a Trike, FOX or Glider (only a C172) but getting into the core of any given aircraft and making it a close to the real thing in XP is an amazing task. I can't wait for the release of this (I'll be there day one) and the update of the Trike/Hang package, which is often my go-to AC in XP11. Keep up the great work sir.
