  1. Hi folks, Probably is a stupid question, but here we go: I broke one of the antenna of my router. The wire inside has been cut as well. I have one antenna remaining. The computer I use is connected via wifi to the router. I still can connect to the internet and my internet speed is still around 10 mbps, which is the "advertised" speed. However, I am wondering if being one antenna short is affecting my internet bandwidth because I have noticed that since the antenna broke, I can't no longer stream in HD... This might be caused by other things, but I understand that internet bandwidth plays a role in what level of resolution you can stream... So basically, is it what is happening? If it is the case, then I guess I need a new router... Anybody can shed a bit of light on that issue please....? Thanks
  2. What is the command you use? Is it "set nav one one one one decimal five" for example? What happens with the last digit seems strange. Support are very good, drop them a line if you can't get it sorted out here....
  3. Hello, New video published.... my take on the Canarsie approach, 13L at KJFK. Enjoy!
  4. As mentioned above, there are 2 main software: Fs2Crew and Multi Crew Experience. Fs2Crew offers sets of procedures, checklists, etc.... I am very familiar with it, but it seems to work well. You can't edit any flows. Multi Crew Experience (MCE) comes with basic procedures and checklists. However, you can edit them as much as you want and even create your own. It works pretty well, too. You can trial MCE, which is a good thing. If you want to see how it works, please visit my Youtube channel (link in the signature), I have a few videos featuring it. Whatever your choice is, I find these two software add another dimension to your simulation experience.
  5. Well, I spoke too fast, the kneeboard does not show when I stream, so I am back to square one unfortunately.... Sorry about the necropost, was not aware of this concept. My apologies once again.
  6. Sorry, I know this is an old thread... Wow, I just installed this addon and it works a treat! It is so nice to have the PDF plates directly in FSX in full screen. No need to reduce windows, etc.... Although I also use another computer for charts, EFB, etc...when I stream, it means I can display the Flight Plan, charts, etc.... within FSX. Cool! Anybody else is using it? Is there something bad I should be aware of?
  7. If you are on FSX, FFTF should be at about 0.15, but if you use ORBX, then it needs to be at about 0.2. It all depends on your CPU as well.... Swt is optional..... Have you tried tweaking with the Nvidia Inspector?
  8. As was previously posted, it should work for any stages of flight and you can edit the flows to your heart's content. You can also create or edit checklists. That's what I like with MCE, you can customise it. Look at my videos in the link below, I have a few (in particular the Live Stream ones) with MCE working with the PMDG 737 NGX and 777.
  9. FSX screenshots still look good. DTG shots look very "blue".....
  10. The record was set on an aircraft that is unable to fly the route on a regular basis..... Mine is the biggest springs to mind! Typical!
  11. Hello folks, A new video today.... St Maarten, VOR Z runway 10. Enjoy. <media> Direct Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EYr2rtTb2Tg
  12. Hello, Latest video posted a couple of days ago....my take on the infamous Toncontin approach.... Enjoy!
  13. Mr340, I like your signature!
  14. Aerosoft airbus, Pmdg Boeing 737, 777.... you can't go wrong. I would also go for ORBX global for the textures, it is nice. GSX is good for all ground services, pushback, de-icing... Active Sky Next will give you fab weather. UK2000 scenery is good, otherwise I am sure you will find some nice freeware scenery here in the AVSIM library.... I am a little bit similar to you, back to FSX after a while... I have those add ons mentioned above plus a few more and I have a lot of fun (if you have a look at my youtube channel, you will see how it all works). Quite a bit of an investment already anyway!
  15. This looks interesting, thanks for the link
  16. Easy to criticise when sitting comfortably in a chair and having time to think about it....
  17. Thanks Ray for your nice comments, I am glad you liked the video. I do like PF3 overall, it has potential, definitely. If phraseology and some procedures could be improved, it would be a major step forward.
  18. Thanks for that, I am glad you liked it. I didn't know PF3 would give me the clearance to cross as the taxi clearance only mentioned taxiways. It is good to know that it does give us clearance to cross. Very nice indeed!
  19. New video published today about PF3, the ATC software.... Click on the link in the signature to access the channel and the video. Enjoy!
  20. Very interesting thread.... I decided to install the Demo version and have a go. It is quite good, I enjoy it.... I have just published a video in which I review PF3. I hope you find it useful and informative. It does not cover everything, but it gives you a good idea of what PF3 is about. Here is the link below.... Enjoy!
  21. Interesting comment, because from what I understand, it is Boeing procedure to complete the memory items at 400 feet...and not to start accelerating before the memory items are complete. I guess each company can adapt the procedures to suit them. Enlightening!
