(8:00) thanks for kind comments and votes James, Lanzarote is for me too a must have ;-), I complete this zone of wonderfull islands with 5 payware-airports, want to make a lot of "promenades" in this zone by all wheaters... As Training and test zone is a nice and good one... Concentration of a lot of posibilities. Now about the Synthetic vision system: I was able to follow the proximity of the montain only trough the svs with a level of security never encountered before... Work well. Be shure between 500ft and the top of the montain, all was around the aircraft full clouds, absolutely white vision, the nightmare in real for pilot when very near a montain when climbing... But the vision on the PFP is "at minimum" very synthetic but the strict information was there. What is nice too, is the indication of the airport on screen, so you are sure of to be on the good way (of course, I tuned the ndb) Landing with poor sight is quite sure with the 3d vision of the runway, but you must follow precisely your altimeter and speeds before to see the runway. Pleasant experience for me, About the C172, it is a very slow machine with less power. The best machine to learn... Perhaps the mind of Carenado to give more chance. I hope a external kid (as gns or gtn) for upgraded other g1000 with a good technology. Counterpart is that novice in sim shall have more difficult to learn the rules of IFR flights.

No interrest for pictures on avsim...?

Hello simfriends I' decided to do 5 try-out today: a) Aerosoft La Palma scenery b) Canarian OrthoPhotoSceneries imported in p3d4 (found on rikooo site for free) c) New Carenado aircraft C172 d) Synthetic vision system e) first post with shots in avsim forum Take off plus a low pass on foged La Palma airport... After one slow climb without visibilities, flying only with the svs (without gps or else) except IFR on PFD... Discovering a nice landscape. And have a good look on canarian volcan of La Palma - - - Descend for security with a low VS to the ocean and landing back in GCLA after folowing the linecoast. Have a good travel mark

Your are probably in v4 and svs seem not ready for this version... A future upgrade in near time, I hope. Or a bug for reading datas in the sim.

Sad news indeen. European sky is traded by a lot of actors with prices underevalueted... Only one way for future... Passengers must paid the right ticket-value for a travel. Perhaps a first Brexit consequence by the traders and investors.

You are right but is difficult to unterstand the counterparty... why loyalety don't paid. I have the knowledge (l'm european) that North G. is less beautifull that South G.... But to help the invest of Australian orbx team for Europe, I acquired all their scenery of this zone... just when published. A part in sceneries that is very less in simworld is Belgium... I hope this is the following step for orbx with the construction from north to southwest of european's countries. France vfr negliged this land ;-) and frenchspeaking belgians are a little worry about ;-)

Or simply you edit the .gfs in a textedit soft and delete this segment manualy ... or do a other choice with a nearest waitpoint of the bad point in little Nav. the problem is the airacs in our gtn is different that the airacs in our sim... GTN is near the perfection, except this soft don't scan the airacs of our sim as do little nav or plan G...

Hi Noel, Coming back to fsx is for me a bad idea, but flying some ones on fsx and others in p3dv4 is a beter idea... P3dv4 is in construction for us and developpers... God take 7 days to make the world... For our's world more simply we shall take a lot ;-) if some buildings of parts disapearing,...orbx team is pro-activ... Just a question of weeks. Imagine a lot of work with the reconsidering of tons of addon's they propose in simulators. patient and ty again... mark

Just make first take off and landing with PA32 on this exceptional scenery It's amazing, never want to do it with real aircraft, it is creasy 🙃 A must have for simpilots who want to try, for free, a hard terrain. I buy the south... Yes the value of money is there in the high quality level of this orbx scenery. Just that in the future, I shall waiting the second part of a land before acquiring... So I shall receive the "prime of no help to the developement" 😉

I do not the same, I don't touch the disk installed v3.4 and keep the same letter that before for v3.4 ( to keep register adressing links). After acquiring v4, I make a full clean install on a new disk (s). So no confusing for windows 10 and registers. work nice. All addons ready v4 are directely installed on the new diskv4 (:) or if installers of addons follow new recommanded installation by LM... I let the wrinting on c: document....v4 addons For olders sceneries not ready, I try those with a link writed in scenery.cfg v4 directed to addons scenery folder of the disk v3.4, So the effects and other .dll can't affect and distroy* the new V4... This manner only textures and scenery can be viewed by P3dv4... Not the perfection but a lot of airports are fllyable in v4 and waiting upgrades for a clean install. * Attention .dll or effects programmed in 32bits are not compatible v4 and perturbe a lot v4. Never install a addon directely in v4 if you don't be sure is a compatible one.

Hi, simfriends I have installed the v4 a few mounths ago, is a great choice and it is the sim future, ok! But this morning , I desired to fly the majestic D8/400 and was ""very happy"" that I don't have uninstalled the version 3.4. Yes with uninstalling, you retrieve a lot of diskspaces but you lost too a lot of aircrafts or sceneries no compatible for v4. I understand that a lot of developpers don't want to convert or remake a upgrade version for some reasons: they are perhaps to old, or perhaps unable, or want to do other aircrafts/sceneries that making boring corrections. To keep one older version of your's sims make sens to keep under the arm your invests of the past. Just the problem for most is the kost of a great and fast disk... a ssd perhaps. have a good flight today Mark.

Perhaps the scenery of the airport have a bad assignement of kind of gate. Often when you see a bad ai aircraft parked on wrong place

Four upgrades and a lost of time to installs before this beaver work well. Some troubles with the gtn in the first v4 version. Attention... The radar is totaly inop in v4. Now, this hystorical aircraft is the nicer and the best for our simulators. Great 3d cockpit as beautifull pictures above show it. A must have

Hello Jim, 100% agree your filling. P3dv4 is a revival of 95% addons we have sceneries and aircrafts... Because we are able now to fly without OM with settings near the max... Simply enjoy... The invest of v4 licence is a little money for the real pleassure given to simmer to retrieve well done sceneries. Fsx stay a lot of years, now the sim future is a 64bits soft, an v4 is now the best challenger. Mark
