  1. You can’t override the thrust setting it self. You can only select which derate and the assumed outside temperature. The efb is still work is process regarding optimum thrust and atm. This likely relates very close to the optimum flap setting.
  2. You selected 98c for the assumed temperature. A lower assumed temperature closer to your outside air temperature will give a higher thrust setting for n1. Leaving it blank will give the max toga value.
  3. LNAV and VNAV will only engage when both flight directors are on and V-speeds have been entered on the takeoff perf page. lnav will only engage when on a rnav departure otherwise hdg select should be used. tcas test button is on the tcas selector.
  4. your V/S depends on your weight. if you're heavy you will climb slower and if you're lighter you can climb faster.
  5. Legs page and then scroll through best to do this with plan mode on the nd. This can be engaged on the efis panel. This let’s you step through the entire flightplan and a discontinuity will appear as a blank line with the word discontinuity below.
  6. You need to check it on the legs page. Sometimes a new SID programmed in might give a discontinuity. Also make sure you engage lnav and not hdg mode.
  7. The livery has nothing todo with this issue. When you load up a flight go through all the waypoints and see if there is a discontinuity. I am 95% sure that there was a disconnect between two waypoints.
  8. Probably not in the current b737 but maybe in the ng3 but it depends if they will simulate a bbj which is not a common model compared to the pax version.

    Fsx was 32 bit and there’s a reason why you need to restart the sim so that you clear the memory in the ram. P3d v4 is 64 bit and this can use all of the available ram so your not limited to 4 gb of ram which was the reason why 32 bit version needed to be restarted after every flight.
  10. The ecl on the b777 can also not be altered like the b748. I honestly don’t think it will ever be a feature as it takes to much time to set it up correct per operator according to the real life airframe.
  11. Performance calculations is not fully functional that is why no optimum cal be calculated for thrust or flap setting I believe.

  13. Yes because you are only flying for 50min and not 11 hours. Ete is estimated time enroute. Enroute means flying.
  14. Aircraft preview window but there is no standard imo. I see what you mean. The tail number box for ATC. At least in p3d it shows up correct. What does ATC_id show you in fsx.
  15. Are you in an area of precipitation. Also have you setup the wx on nd.
  16. Unlike the b737 which has a cruise and landing alt knob for pressuring the b747-400 or the b747-8 don’t have this as it is done automatically. There is an override function if auto fails.
  17. The default copa could also mean the default livery that is included with the pmdg 737. But if your right then op is in the wrong forum. So first let’s get straight which b737 he is using.

  20. I assume your name is jeff edward. first off all what navigation data are you using. Secondly for Paris there is no 25r at LFPG. Which upon closer look at the picture is a spelling mistake in your post. What I can tell from the picture is that the correct frequency and course is displayed so that leads me to think that the scenery you are using is not updated.
  21. If you have the application go into the settings and check if theoath to you fsx folder is set correct. Then run the automatic addon finder which looks at all your installed aircraft plus tools. This should point directly to the correct folder. Which is called pmdg/navdata/ there should be a cycle info text.
  22. Go into the pmdg folder inside of p3d and delete a file with runway in its name. Idk the exact name of 5h3 file but this should fix your problem. also please write your first and last name on 3very post.
  23. Pmdg haven’t released any updates so far. But if you believe this is a bug then submit a support ticket via pmdg.
  24. Yes as that data is specific formatted for vroute. Pmdg uses a different format. Aero.sors isn’t navdata but replaces vordme stations, ils frequencies and magnetic variation.
