  1. Uploaded. However, searching "Fenix A320", even with some time limits, yields so many videos, it is no surprise mine or yours has no visitors. Currently, I got 38. Does not matter. I do that for fun like most simmers. .
  2. You can set keys to switch to external, to drone, and to cockpit camera. No problem. The program remembers the current settings of the external and drone camera. The drone is by default attached to the plane and moves with it. It can also be made to look to a target.
  3. I did a video with one ILS approach, touch and go, and a visual circuit following. Will probably upload the complete thing. But who is going to watch it?
  4. I am sure now it is a random failure caused by a bug in some data handling. It happened at one time and then not the next time here. All proposed solutions here might be only placebo.
  5. Now did a complete flight without issues from LFST to EDDN in the updated Fenix. EDDN was the airport where the CTD happened before. I think it is a problem with the data initialization. Maybe turning off the data cache helps?
  6. UPDATE: The problem seems to be spurious. After another restart in "save mode" it worked even in "normal mode" on the bought airport where it crashed before. All in DX11. Fingers crossed.
  7. I, like probably many others, get the error message below. CDT. I updated the drivers already to my Geforce 1080 (516.94). I don't overclock, nor is it overheating. I also applied all available updates of MSFS. The plane was the default Cessna 172SP. In the graphics settings, I tried DX12 (Beta), which was set by default, and DX11. Any other ideas?
  8. Whenever I read that, and it has been said many times before, I ask for details. Mostly, the claim is based on the obvious fact that a PC simulator is not full motion, and, moreover, has visual limits and different flight controls. So, is that your view point or do would you say there are serious defects in the way the dynamics of the planes and their reaction to flight inputs is simulated both in either XP or MSFS? And if, which ones?
  9. It is reset to the default position. I cannot recommend changing the menu settings. Instead, assign a button or key to "VFR PILOT VIEW SAFE". Mine is Ctrl-Pos1. You also need keys to move the head around the cockpit. Those are "TRANSLATE COCKPIT VIEW ...". You can turn and zoom with the mouse or its wheel. Use this to set the default view you like and save it with the set button. This position will be used to reset from custom views or landing mode. I have also Pos1 set to "RESET COCKPIT VIEW". By the way, you can also save key to "LANDING PILOT VIEW SAVE", Mine is Ctrl-Space. And Space is to "TOGGLE LANDING VIEW MODE (HOLD)". I once had a video on this stuff, but nobody watched it. And the lots of videos on MSFS views use other tricks.
  10. I tried some crosswind landing (to test the bad claims about its unrealism). But already setting the winds seems to be broken. If I set it to 4 km/h, I get 20kts announced in the ATIS of the airport, and 11kts indicated in the ND of the Fenix A320. The windsock, on the other hand, indicates something more like 8kts. The plane has a 4° crab at 170kts, which translates to 11kts indeed. But why is the setting and the ATIS broken? What's going on?
  11. I simply selected ILS25 via LBU. It inserted those two waypoints. This is with the current AIRAC by Navigraph. If you get a bad approach planning, consider to vector yourself instead. By the way, there was a problem with my approach too. The chart clearly state +5000 for the first waypoint I have to check again, what's going on here.
  12. As we discussed in another thread, this does not work on my system. I still did not find what prevents it. If you can help, tell me ...
  13. I hope not. They should first fix the A320 to meet the high standards they have set themselves.
  14. I was using reshade for X-Plane all the time with no problems, allowing it for Vulkan apps globally. It never occurred to me that I can use it in MSFS too. I now tried, but it MSFS does not appear in the list of applications of the ReShade_Setup exe. So, how do I start?
  15. I don't think that is possible. See it as part of the flight preparation 🙂 The default pilot position, landing view etc. can be changed, however.
  16. And here is the problem. Nobody likes subscriptions. But I would subscribe to a working Airbus that fixes things in short time (say for 35€ half-yearly). And I could unsubscribe if it did not work as expected.
  17. It's not an update, it is a fix for me. I appreciate that the plane does 90% right, but I want more. It is a joy to have this plane, however. Other Airbusses I know were much worse at the start (maybe with the exception of the FSL). Even the wonderful Tolis took ages to get an Airbus right. The FF is still not finished. My most obvious complaint is the wrong drag and performance. It should not be difficult to get the glide ratio at green dot right, shouldn't it? On the other end of urgency, I'd like to have a button for the intuitive A/T disconnect. But the OP asked (more or less) if we can trust their development. I do. However, I said the same in the case of the FF. So, fingers crossed.
  18. Last time I tried my version of REX, the real weather of MSFS was way more real on the specific airport. I stopped using it after that experience. In fact, I found the MSFS depiction quite close now. Reading some posts here, I am going to try REX once more. Do they have a new and recent version? I miss some features of the real world in MSFS, of course, but I understand that it is impossible to represent the beautiful detailed real-life skies on a current PC simulator.
  19. Missing textures and buildings look like a network or server issue.
  20. Talking about cameras and head movement: I would love to disable the leaning effect in curves. Is that still not possible?
  21. It's blowing and the GPU and CPU keep running. I cannot imagine a current PC that could run MSFS without air cooling. It is a demanding sim, after all.
