Does the update include a fix for the engine / systems information not appearing when the master is switched on without the avionics switch?

The entire reason getting the FBW A320 onto the marketplace & in a state where the developers were comfortable officially recognizing was so slow is because they wanted to get Airbus's permission first. They really care about keeping good relationships with anyone they have a license with. I think it's ridiculous that you'd even propose such a ridiculous theory about MS attempting to shut down realistic Garmin addons from coming to hide their own incompetency. For starters, they want to get realistic products into the sim as quickly as possible (take a look at the quick help they gave PMDG to get the DC-6 into the sim). Secondly, have you seen the Working Title G1000 NXi? It's incredible, and they're constantly improving it. Their G1000 NXi is going to replace the base G1000 in the sim as soon as it's out of beta. So the premise that they aren't capable of making their own high-quality Garmin devices within the sim is also ridiculous. Have you ever watched the developer Q&As or read anything Jorg has said about the future of the sim? Or read any of @MattNischan's posts here? The amount of unwarranted criticism here is disappointing.

Gotcha. Twist grip makes sense. I just thought you had no way of manipulating the rudder in flight.

Late to the party, but how could you fly without rudder pedals? The rudder is one of the three primary flight controls! I have the Saitek / Logitech pro flight rudder pedals & they work great.

This is just getting ridiculous. People have been complaining about performance here since launch date …

Man this hurts so bad to hear. Seems a large part of the community is toxic and lacks understanding / empathy. The team has truly done an incredible job, and they don’t deserve to have to deal with the backlash from this part of the community. They should be praised for their efforts. I really hope they’re able to keep their heads up after this - seems incredibly demoralizing to put months of work into something only to have a subset of the community completely discredit and complain about the work you’ve done. To those of you who keep spreading these ridiculous theories and act like Asobo is out to get us by prioritizing Xbox simmers, if they prematurely end development of MSFS, we’ll probably know why.

Try disabling Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling in Windows settings.

My takeaway is that MSFS is looking to get into the mobile market! X-Plane, watch out!

Where exactly is this coming from? From the looks of it, this will be much more “hardcore” than the FSLabs A320.

For sure the current state, although I think it’s aircraft specific. The C172 handles much more realistically now than it did before, as does the A320 neo as far as I can tell. The airplanes feel less squirmy / light in the wind than before.

Yikes. I think simulators in general and use of VATSIM can save a bit of money on training (mostly because of familiarity of the world of aviation, ATC communications, basic understanding of cockpit orientation, etc.), but paying for a Udemy course from a random private pilot is a horrible idea 😕

There’s a built in 152 tutorial. I’d start with that. There are also flight lessons hosted by a (EDIT: pilot, not CFI) with Jayne, the MSFS community manager. Let me know if you need any help with the 172, as that’s a plane I fly IRL.

I was added to it as an aircraft expert a few mins ago. They’ll probably add the rest soon. Says they’re still preparing it.

What ground texture pack do you have? Is that the new Rex one? Looks amazing.

Agree with you on wishing Zibo came over, but what we have isn’t far off! We have the FBW A32NX which is quickly becoming Zibo quality, and we have Working Title & their CJ4 + Garmin mods which really improve things. Once PMDG releases their 737 I’ll feel completely set & satisfied though!

That makes me sad. I've been pushing hard for it. I think the energy died down because we assumed we had a bit of time until it was ready, so there were other things we wanted to focus on... I emailed him with some info / tips. Guess it fell on the priority list though :/
