Defiantly not essential like P3D and XP. If it comes, it will bring along with it nice extra features like what Damian was describing above, I think many will appreciate those features

Honestly could be as well technical limitation for not opening the WRITE weather APIs from the start, MSFS is tightly coupled with Meteorblu weather model and could be, the weather depiction engine in MSFS is tailored to work with Meteorblu which 'can be' hard for them to expose, I understand as software engineer. Having said that, though personally I am super satisfied with the default weather engine, I think is fair if they give the chance for 3rd party addones like AS to innovate in some shortcoming features, the more the better. Then as consumer, you are free to purchase or just stay with the default weather engine.

Maybe because wasn't critical for the community given the default weather engine has been tremendously improved since 2020? Of course for missing features like historical weather depiction, this would be good for 3rd party add-ones like HiFi.

By the way, JarDesign is one of the “untrusted” developers in XP

Well with the CRJ, Hans Hartman was just "anti" any criticism or complain you give in the forums. Even trying to help, he will write a single post and directly close the thread with "believe this issue was solved blah blah". Aerosoft has grown more and more arrogant with MSFS release TBH. That is why I am seeing the release of A330 as "meh", I am perfectly happy with headwind (support OSS and moders!).

Guys don’t forget, is created by Hans Hartman, the same creator of the “bug free” CRJ 😁. Well at least this time he’s not doing it for Aerosoft otherwise we will be blocked from the forums.

So what do we expect from this release: - dumpster fire of bugs, I won't be surprised if the falls from skies bug is not fixed. - Support that is the far opposite of "friendly", if you ever give any critique, no matter how small it is, get ready to be blocked. - Mr.Kok cheering with wine glasses celebrating the "breaking" sales numbers for a broken product. Oh man, Aerosoft and Mr Kok have damaged our confidence with this company 😐

Just grabbed NZCH Christchurch, seriously one of the best airports that I have ever purchased. Especially the tiles, mind blowing!

Yep. JavaScript is powerful and flexible that is very easy to misuse if you don't know it pretty well. WT wrote a avionics framework which makes it easy for 3rd party developers to develop systems in Javascript, I don't know if they are using it though (I think is used by FBW as well).

Or you have to be super advanced in JavaScript to get the best out of it like WT and FBW.
