  1. I was just kidding. And we now learned how it's really pronounced, which is nice.
  2. Oh, I must have misunderstood their Feedback Snapshot then. In my book solved means ... well ... solved ... and available. 🙂
  3. In the Feedback Snapshot I read the 'Insufficient Inertia' issue is solved in the Sep 03 update. I don't have MFS yet (waiting for new hardware) ... has anyone felt / seen the planes are heavier now, which should translate as being less 'twitchy' in air?
  4. This is the drawing of the top plate. A .dxf laser file and the .ino Arduino Leonardo sketch can be downloaded from Dropbox.
  5. 32 Radios and Autopilot Project: Mobiflight Configuration of HDG, IAS, ALT and V/S. In the previous video we configured the course (CRS) setting. In this video we'll configure the other four autopilot settings: heading (HDG), Indicated Air Speed (IAS), altitude (ALT) and Vertical Speed (V/S). Link to the video. Link to the blog post.
  6. How to uninstall is described here. It differs a bit depending of you have the Steam or the MS store version. https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/only-for-players-with-installation-issues-note-from-the-team/231206
  7. Yes, but Ahh ... now adding the picture worked ... strange. I'll post the drawings, laser file, parts list and software soon, probably tomorrow.
  8. The MFS Camera Control Unit I intended to build is ready (but for the knobs for the sliders that are in the making). The unit is built around an Arduino Leonardo. It's recognized by Windows as a HID controller. I hope MFS has the settings available to use a HID controller to control the camera and the drone. The idea is to control those with the left hand, while the right hand holds the stick to control the plane. The joystick is intended for Rx, Ry, Rz rotations. The sliders are meant for X,Y translation and Zoom. The 5 buttons are meant to switch between saved camera presets. Cost price of the unit is less than $20,- plus a couple of fun hours building it. EDIT: for some reason the image won't show here, but it is two posts down in this thread. Info on how to build this yourself will follow soon.
  9. I'm no A320 pilot and I don't know the exact ins and outs, but I remember I read somewhere the A320 has auto trim. That might explain it? I don't know if this auto trim can be switches off.
  10. I just Googled how many employees Asobo has: 140 (says Google)
  11. First benchmark results: 3080 is some 80% faster than 2080 at 4k.
  12. I hope you're right. Lucky that this Bitcoin mining crazyness has shifted to dedicated hardware.
  13. I just watched the live talk. Three units will be launched, 3070, 3080 and 3090. The 3070 will be around $600 and will be more powerful than the $1400 2080ti. And the 80 and 90 specs are just insane, and still reasonably priced. Edit: one small potential issue ... availability. My guess is demand might go through the roof.
  14. Wonderful piece of work. Very skillful guy / girl who made this. Edit: I'm amazed to see that some people took the effort to press the thumb down button ... I don't get that.
  15. I bet had they waited with the release for say 3 months there still would have been lots of issues. The things they already knew from the alpha / beta period could have been (partly) solved but with a mass release like now new, other, things happen, like we see unfortunately with the many people that suffer from download and install issues, and stuttering. I delayed the introduction myself. I'm going to put together new hardware, which waits for the intro of new nVidia and AMD chips. It'll probably not be before December ... by then I hope MSF will be far more fluent with installation and I hope I miss out on many of the 'child diseases' like stuttering that are currently very frustrating to many.
  16. In the 'Tips & Tricks' section there's a thread called '50 ways to reduce stutter ... or not'. All of them seemed to have helped for some, yet not for others. Maybe if you're lucky one or more of these ways might reduce your issue.
  17. Nice that this helps. Maybe this can be posted / moved to the 'Tips & Tricks' section, and maybe added to the '50 ways to reduce stutters thread' (to be the 51st way ) .. then it can be found back later for everyone with more ease.
  18. You're not alone ... more people have their premium content not loading. There has been a workaround but lately it happens again, and previous solutions don't work anymore. It's discussed on the MSF forum and I'm sure Asobo will pick it up. https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/premium-deluxe-content-not-available/233798/59
  19. A tech alpha insider gathered 50 tips that that apparently helped others to reduce stuttering. Alas for him, all to no avail. But who knows one or more of the tips can help you. https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/solution-for-stutters-pauses/198328
