  1. Hm. not working here either. installed the latest sdk as well. oh well.
  2. Can’t use FSUIPC to control pitch and/or roll.
  3. Hey, thanks for trying it out. Let us know if your computer still works tomorrow 😆. Seriously though, thanks. If you’ve got a sec, could you briefly explain how the interface works? The one in X Plane had you set an FPS target, and it would increase or decrease TLOD based on that target. Does this work similarly?
  4. Found this article from a quick search. It must be built in now. Didn't know about it either. Seems like it'd be easily automated through Flow though, all it'd need is a reference for target FPS at various altitudes.
  5. Well, maybe if this gets enough traction, Asobo will catch on like they did with the "sky tweaks." Needed a community dude to get it going, then they piggybacked on his findings and incorporated it into the sim's code lol.
  6. lol this whole time I thought the icing issue was a feature, not a bug. Was in a moderate/severe icing situation, and went through the airspeed unreliable checklist. I guess when you’re in the heat of battle, it doesn’t matter if it’s a bug or not, just gotta make it work 😆
  7. Tried it. Went back to normal. It is nice to have DLSS and no ghosting, but I did notice that there was some stuttering with Frame Generation. Honestly, I'm happy running my native resolution with FG and TAA. It did look a bit sharper, but nothing that was mind blowing. I may try it again at an iniBuilds airport since their fields usually have that weird shimmering on terminal buildings.
  8. Oh man, that’s a dead giveaway. I know exactly what that place is! Something poorly optimized, with flickering textures, and won’t receive updates. 😂 Sorry. But I’m sure this one will not have any of those issues at all, like every one of their other scenery’s.
  9. This scenery is great aside from one critical issue. . . Texture shimmering. It’s absolutely horrible, to the point it’s impossible not to notice. That needs a fix asap. There’s also texture flickering on the ramp, which I’ve never seen before.
  10. That’s funny. Still an amazingly well done scenery though either way.
  11. Orbx is overwhelming with all of its deals. I’ve got about 12 places ready to buy in my cart! The question is, will I remember they’re there after checking them out haha
  12. That’s what keeps it fun. Scrap the GPS and fly with needles. Very glad the black square planes, Milviz 310 and others allow that. Now that winter is on its way in the northern hemisphere, I think many fun and satisfying flights are inbound.
  13. Alright, we only have a few days. There are literally thousands of items on sale between ORBX, MSFS Marketplace, Contrail, Simmarket, iniBuilds, Aerosoft, the list goes on. I've been going through a bunch of them on the MSFS marketplace, ORBX, and Simmarket, but holy %#@*, there are too many addons to go through alone. If you find a deal that is really good (good price, high quality), can you post it please? How about your top 5 that you've found. Can be anything for MSFS - a plane, utility, scenery. Try not to duplicate what others have posted on your list. If you'd like to +1 an addon, go for it, but different items would be appreciated. If you could also note the price (in your currency) and the store, it'd be extremely helpful. Some addons are actually cheaper from different stores. i.e. 1WA6 is on sale in the MP for $2.99USD, but on the ORBX store, converted it's $2.85USD. Not much, I know, but could help out when piling on the addons. If you see someone posted an addon at a higher price from a different store, please quote the item and update the store, it'd be extremely helpful. The top 5 I've found are: 1. Wilga (MSFS MP): $17.49USD was $34.99USD 2. FSDT KIAH (FSDT Store): $5.99USD was $9.99USD (Discount Code: FSDTBF2023) 3. Zenith CH701 (MSFS MP): $1.99USD was $29.99USD 4. LPPT MK-Studios (ORBX Store): $7.20USD was $19.99USD 5. Cownasim H125 (MSFS MP): $13.99USD was $32.99USD
  14. It’s probably a good idea to swap out your hard drive (if you’re using an M.2) when you do a windows wipe too. I try to do it every few years or so, and backup airports/planes/programs so it’s easy to get the sim up and running. But I’d be lying by not saying it’s a major PITA.
  15. I tried Bijan's trees after reading your post, and while they look good, I did notice the issue with terrain masking where you can see color changes in tiles. I decided to go back with REX for now, but I'm glad Bijan is back at it. FYI: I also felt the same way about the colors of the trees in REX, but then I remembered I hadn't tried "cool" colors. Swapped over to that, and they look much better.
  16. You've probably reached the object limit, depending on the airport and whether you used GSX, etc.
  17. Now that is interesting. I’ve been using a combo of FSUIPC and the in sim settings. Honestly I’m afraid to mess with another program in case I mess it up haha, but I may have to look into it.
  18. The plane is pretty good. But I can't figure out how to properly shut down an engine in flight....or i'm not sure if it's simulated. The prop doesn't feather...the sounds and 'head movements' appear tied to the throttle levers themselves and not what is actually going on with the plane. i.e. the engine indications show that the engine is shut down, but the prop won't feather, it stays around 300RPM. If I (with the engine shut down) push the throttle up on the dead engine, i get a head movement that suggests the engine is producing power, along with an rpm increase sound. hmmm. Could be a bug. Using SU13.
  19. I must be the only one….i love this product. It’s a bit complicated to get setup which makes sense since just about everything is pirated now. I like how it now is silently automated. I also recently changed the trees to ‘tall,’ and they look amazing.
  20. Thanks for that. Looking at my MSFS data usage, I wonder if MSFS translates the tiles used by the tool to data used, and turning the cache on makes it save the tiles as well, making them save twice. Not sure. I'll try it out and see if there's any difference in performance.
  21. I've been enjoying the MSFS Scenery Enhancement Tool with the updated Bing graphics. I elected to enable Photogrammetry again...even if it does hurt performance a tad. My question is, would there be any benefit to running with rolling cache enabled (in the sim, *not the tool*), while using the Enhancement tool. Since the Photogrammetry still comes from ASOBO/Blackshark, would that be the only data stored? I'd imagine it'd be a bit quicker to load, and maybe since the PG wouldn't be streaming, it may lead to slightly better performance. Not sure if anyone has tried this.
  22. SFO? Sweet. Can do the bay tour. HNL, nice, can fly up and down Waikiki. These two are gonna be awesome. I could do without Charlotte and Atlanta, but I get it, gotta please the American and Delta boys.
  23. AFAIK it was only on the 747, we used the NG software. It worked on the -8 software as well. I tried it on the 75 & 76, but it didn't work. And the 73 NG doesn't have the function either. I'd imagine on the 787 it wouldn't work, because it wouldn't be necessary. You guys have TRK mode directly on the MCP, which is very nice.
