January 14, 200917 yr 1. B7772. A320Since there is no real high quality 777, there is a real need for one. People saying "long haul" routes for MD-11 or B777, or even B747, that is nonsense. You can fly short 1-3 hour legs even with those aircraft.Though, should they not decide to make a T7, then my next vote would be an A320. It sure is one of the most used aircraft, and it needs a serious design, if by some chance Airsimmer doesn't prove to be as good as they are advertising.
January 16, 200917 yr Level D /PMDG or who ever decides to make a high standard 777, if taking this poll and general rumblings as a guide. They gonna make some money. As for a 777 being only long haul, many airlines use them for 1 to 3 hour flights. JAL/ANA/SIA/United, I am just going from flights I have been on. As far as what PMDG does, I hope it is a 777, not only for the aircraft, but they do a great job in customer service. A area that some companies just lack. Brandon
January 17, 200917 yr We certainly give thanks to all the developers for trying their best on every product they've developed. There is no question that some are better than others in terms of functioanlity, or graphics, or performance; etc. etc. But, for those who know what's the best and demand the best, we know that so far PMDG and Level D takes the lead. Is there any other developer out there (in the making, possibly) developing a produt like the "best guys" or even better? Well...possibly. We don't know until we have it available and test it with our very own hands. In the final analysis, a great "thank you" goes for those who have put a tremendous effort in developiong a product as close and as the real-life counterparts. Want a solid reputation?... Develop a masterpiece. Want a "catch and kill" reputation?...develop a lousy product.Honestly, I like Boeings; but, I love airbuses. And I have to tell you I enjoyed flying the PSS Airbuses (they did a marvelous job, with some limitations, but they started the competition). Then came Wilco, a bit better but not good enough. Hence, I'd love to see a High Quality Airbus...Who will make it...THE RACE IS ON... BRING IT !!!!! Thanks,Juan Gonzalez (John)
January 17, 200917 yr Hi everyone!I've been a PMDG fan for some years now, and I honestly love the idea of seeing a PMDG A320 some day... I tried the Wilco one, and I've been trully desapointed to say the less... So I'm wainting a lot from the PMDG one (As I also fly a real A320 in real life!)For a future developpement, I have a question: Isn't it more simple for developpers to create an A330/A340 family after the A320? There are a lot in common, "panel talking", between the 20s and 30s/40s... Lots of similar gauges I guess... So will a A330/340 family come sooner than a 777 family? Otherwise, I can't wait to see either a 777 or a 330/340 made by PMDG so, anything will be much appreciated, though my preference would go for a goog old 777!To me, anything the others do, PMDG does it better! So thanks for your job!David
January 17, 200917 yr In short, I'll go for anything heavy with freighter variants... here are my preferences:1) IL-96, particularly the IL-96-400T freighter :( (also the IL-96T was a version of the IL-96-400T with BOEING STYLE COCKPIT INSTRUMENTS).2) 7773) 764. January 19, 200917 yr I would love to see someone represent the CRJ series with some quality. This plane is in serious need of a quality developer to take on (PMDG).Cheers!-- Dustin Osteen
January 21, 200917 yr Don't we all forget the 757??I haven't seen an update from level-d in ages... Are they still in business? Happy Landings!Eric Öälders

Airsimmer is not yet in the "competition" whatever is my hope and trust to their project. The BAE-146 is indeed a plane forgotten by the high end developpers. Same about most russian aircrafts, http://cdn-www.airliners.net/aviation-phot...1/1/1465111.jpgsame about the lookheed tristar.http://cdn-www.airliners.net/aviation-phot...9/7/1457790.jpgMost of the "bling-bling" jets like Israel gulfstream or Dassault Falcon are also unexplored gold mine

January 24, 200917 yr Paul Hannity is still working on his BAE146-freeware. It will come with VC...A 717 would be absolutely interesting, there are lots of widebodies at the moment. Why not a 717?I like the MD-80 series, but they all have old avionics. Well as I can remember, the 717 has avionics like the 737, right?Would be great to have such a bird with new avionics to make some easy afterwork flights... :( Philipp Mittelstaedt
January 24, 200917 yr Dassault and Gulfstream won't allow anyone to develop simulations of their aircraft I've read. This is not completely true. Clearly there are professional simulators for both Dassault and Gulfstream aircraft for pilot training. These simulators are built by other vendors and of course they must have full access to data and cooperation of both aircraft manufacturers. What they are clearly not interested in is the gaming market and reasons may be multiple - from lack of time to incompatibility with their corporate image. Michael J.

January 24, 200917 yr Okay, a short haul aircraft is indeed needed, but the NGX is coming along, and the 717 is operated by only a handful of airlines, so for curiosity, it would be a very wise choice but personally I would not really be interested in it, as I am hardly motivated to get the MD-11 either. I'm not saying the MD is not a worthy addition to the fleet though..An Airbus family however, would be highly popular, I bet even more than the 747 was, when it was released. I'm a Boeing fan, but I start to wonder if its only because there are no 'busses on the market done by the standards PMDG has set and that I have gotten used to.Let's make the guys over at PMDG develop a complete FS on their own... ;)Cheers,Balint Nagy Balint Nagy
January 26, 200917 yr Personally, I'd like to see the 747-400, which is already an excellent simulator, brought up to the MD-11 standards: variable lighting, FMC shortcuts, etc. Perhaps even better fault logic. It just feels incomplete now compared to the MD-11.Ryan Collier
January 26, 200917 yr I'd like to see a good Fokker 50/60.I think is a good addition to their express series.Ronald de Haan
