This looks fantastic!!! Cannot wait to purchase it--as I have with all of PMDG's products--they are among the best FS products out there! I have been waiting for a well-modeled FSX twin turbo airliner. I have worn your B1900D & C out!

Yes, there will be liveries. Weve been working on finalizing the paintkit that should be available when the liveries go live. Once the paintkit is locked liveries will be produced. We have one livery, United Express, that was being used to vet the paintkit and we'll post screenshots of that along with one or two 'specials' in the coming weeks.Pete 'Mac Paint'PMDG Graphic Designer

Robert is there going to be liverys for this aircraft?? As i dont think anyone has brought liverys up?? Danny

Looks great as expected.I look forward to hearing what other special bits have gone into the 41. Little things like having to wait for the battery volts to come up enough to crank the engines on a cold soaked originator would be neat.Good work!Nick

Regarding liveries, I have a request that I have been thinking about for some time and perhaps with the release of the J41, now is the time to ask.Would it be possible to install liveries for the J41 and future PMDG aircraft using another livery installation manager/method besides the Windows based installers?I'm not sure about anyone else, but I buy all the PMDG aircraft and download (collect) all the official liveries for each aircraft. As you can imagine, my Add/Remove Programs list of installed applications has become very, very long with the list of official PMDG livery installations. I realize I could be more choosy about which liveries I decide to install, but I do like to collect the offical liveries and to have my choice of a given livery at the start of each FS session.I really do like the Flight1 livery management application whereby liveries are very small and much more easily installed than clicking next-next-next for each PMDG livery, which is a real pain in the back-side when a person needs to reinstall his FS collection and for each PMDG aircraft, all the associated liveries.Even if you must continue with the Windows Installers, is there some way you could make them appear as patches to a single PMDG Livery-entry in the Add/Remove Programs group, so that if the 'List Patches' checkbox is unchecked, not every PMDG Livery will be listed, just a parent entry of some sort?IMHO, the list of installed Windows applications on a given PC is not the proper place to list each and every livery for all the PMDG aircraft. I understand that this is because each livery is currently delivered, installed, and tracked via the Wise installers, but maybe it's time to find a cleaner solution to the multitude of liveries and the method by which they are handled. As always, respectfully yours,

Beautiful work - I am looking for example at the standby analog AI - one of the toughest instruments to render and it is absolutely gorgeous.

Looks fantastic Robert! i have yearned for a good twin engine turbo-prop for FSX for a long time! i assume thi will be easier on the ever importnat framerates than the MD-11 and 747 as i have a medioce dual core system only....:)John StevensCYOW

I don't really like the original aircraft or its avionic, with the look of an CCCP abandon program. :( But this PMDG version is really amazing, the details and sharpness are here ! the NAV/COM looks awesome :( Thanks Robert and the team to bring us your new developments possibilities.BenjaminPS1 : I hope you could do a wear, tear and abuse simulation.PS2 : Hope also that you can fix this seat texture problem.

What's the matter with the seat texture?Nick

You have high standards, my friend. Personally, I don't spend too much time studying the seat while flying. But I'm picky too... I agree with somebody up above who posted that the ALT knob should be thoroughly worn. So should the PUSH SYNC button on the HDG knob, and to a lesser extent, the PUSH DIR buttons on the CRS knobs.Nonetheless, I'll take it however it comes (sts). Nick

Look at the border of the seat, you have a line cutting the top from the side.
If you're talking about the arm rest I think that is the gap between the padded part that your arm rests on and the metal part that makes up the structure of the arm rest. If that's not what you're talking about then never mind.Edit: You posted your explanation while I was typing so never mind that part of my post. One other thing. I the fourth and fifth pictures in the first post you can see the reflection of the interior of the cockpit in the windows. I have over 8000 hours in Brasilias, 727s F100s and 737s and I have never noticed reflections like that. Maybe they are there and my brain filters them out. I have seen this used in a few addon aircraft but compared to my real life experience its not realistic. Other than that I think it looks great. That kind of detail is ruining some of my other addons for me.
