I'm also having this problem of CTD on exiting FSX in Vista 64. I tried a few things , so here they are. I rebuilt the FSX config., still CTD. I discovered that when I loaded the 747 or the MD11, they also CTD on exit.So a common file for PMDG seems to be affected it appears after the installation of the J41 . I uninstalled the J41, but the 747 and the MD11 still CTD. I had to uninstall the 747 and the MD11 and delete any PMDG file left over,and reinstalled them minus the J41. When I did this, everything was back to normal.Just some added info for trying to solve the issue.

no, can't confirm this.But I have tried it out and uninstalled the MD-11 and reinstalled it over the J41, in the hope that some corrupted files get repaired.But no success. Doesn't make a difference here. MD-11 is working as always, J41 CTD.I have had some times with the J41 some strange behaviour, see the screenshotTranslation:its the FS Mainmenu after I have ended a flight with the J41.The window over the window is the screen that you get if you press ESC ingame. ("End flight", "continue flight", "flight analyses")I have pressed ESC ingame, got the screen normal as always and then again over the main menu.If I press sth in the window, FS doesn't react any more and have to be ended.Can't reproduce when this happens, but never had this before in my FS-live, just two or three times since the J41.... maybe this helps...Any news about the CTDs from the developers? Hi all,First off congrats on a great addon. I have a i7920 running on Win7 64Bit and the fps is good,Regarding the CTD issue i have been trying this bird all day and have been having CTD's all day. I now have the Cessna loaded as default and i have no CTD when exiting FSX.I still have random CTD during startup and mid-f;ight until i read a earlier post which suggested the problem was with the FMS. I decided to stop using the FMS and i have just completed my first flight with no CTD's.So it looks def that the FMS is causing a problem.Im sure the guys at PMDG will have this sorted soon.

I also experience a CTD today when I try to make change in my flight plan.It happened when during the cruise flight, when I am making a modification of waypoint about a selected STAR.RegardsYufeng

I too have CTD when exiting FSX. I have default cessna as default flight, load that first, change to JS41 then end flight and exit FSX and crash. If I don't load JS41 it exits without problems. Win7 RC x64

I also get a CTD when resetting the flight (Ctrl + ;)I'm running an i7 and W7 64 bit.Other than that, it's been smooth sailing and the fps are considerablly good, for such a complex aircraft in FSX.

Hello I also have CTD evrytime I try to close the game with the JS41 being the selected aircraft.I did erase my fsx cfg to have a brand new one (with the default cessna over fryday harbour) but it doesn't work.I run FSX SP2 on Vista 32Other add ons are REX, digital aviation cheyenne, realair duke and A2A P47.EDIT : Actually it crash when i Flew the js41 even if its the default cessna that is the current aircraft selectedArnaud de Saint Hilaire

Please take some time and think through the information you are giving us. Clearly we are looking at a CTD that occurs for SOME users in a very specific instance when leaving FSX. so when you tell us that you get a similar problem on exit- please take the time to explain what steps you took BEFORE the problem- and also take the time to exit FSX directly from the flight and tell us if the problem persists in that condition also.In other words- please do your best to help us expand and trend data. Giving us vague information won't help us to find a solution.Thanks!

CTD on ExitJust purchased the J41 last night and wanted to have a look at her before heading off to bed. 1. Loaded a default Cessna and then switched to the J412. Checked out the beautifule VC and externals, played with the ramp panel and decided that everything was cool so ended the flight and went back to the FSX free flight page.3. Exit FSX and CTD with Msvcr80.dll referenced as the module name.If I exit FSX from the menu with the aircraft loaded and sitting on the runway FSX terminates with no drama or issues. This behaviour is consistent each time I tried it.
