September 27, 200916 yr Commercial Member In my opinion, a boeing 777 is baiscly a boeing 747-400 except it has two engines and a shorter range... So a 777 wouldnt be worth it.. in my opinionBefore you even attempt to have people take you seriously learn to spell 'basically'!and despite the fact my father is going to spend the next few months sweating in a leveld sim and buried up to the neck in paperwork moving from the 744F to the 777 I may just say hey dude dont worry, you have two less engines to stress about...Rob Rob Prest

September 27, 200916 yr i do agree that it is a beautiful plane But IN MY OPINION , I dont think its worth it, espically with all the other projects that are going on, such as j41 service pack, 737NGX, the dash8 comming in to plan. I don't get this fetish with modern aircraft. B747, md11, B777 same thing basically you program the FMC, monkey pushes the button and viola, you disable it again at 200' for the landing. Whoopie Give me a complex handson aircraft any day! I will give my right nut for a B727 from PMDG. I'll go hide in the bushes nowPardon my bad English.... Alexander Michael

So a 777 wouldnt be worth it.. in my opinionThe 777-200LR/ER and 777-300ER (pretty much the 777 in general) have a much longer range than both versions of the 747-400.... :(
September 27, 200916 yr I'd probaby like 75$ for a PMDG level 777 addon.PMDG manager, you read the comments. the market practically BEGS for it. why don't you listen to our calls ?I mean, you fed us with the oldies (they were great but hardly any airlines uses them anymore)The time has come for a new era. a 777 era..please !!!
September 27, 200916 yr Some say we have PMDG 747 why we need 777 then - Well don't you think that the 'Queen of the skies' is a little outdated now (performance and graphic wise). I personally stopped flying the 747 for that reason. I'm sure PMDG would implement the latest candies in the newly developed 777. Another thing is that I spent so many hours in the cockpit of the real 777 - I can assure you guys that is one of the most comfortable offices in the airplane world... September 27, 200916 yr hi all, on the question of the 777 and 737ng.2, i have two dvds featuring these aircraft and the one thing that fascinated me and set them apart was the ACARS system built into both aircraft. the crew went through the preparation flow up to engine start and at the press of a button the route data and arrival procedures appeared fully loaded into the FMC, after checking , execute pressed and hey presto. the point of this being, that in flight sim this function would be impossible and therefore these aircraft would just be like the present aircraft we are using 737 747 md11. richard welsh.
