Best "Business" type jet

Featured Replies

What is the best business type jet? I know the Wilco CRJ series. I tried Wilco's A380 and I did not like that. I also saw the Flight1 Mustang. I know there are ones that I am missing. All ideas would be great. Thanks

The Mustang gets a serious amount of praise. It's not the biggest or fastest bizjet, but it is one of the most richly simulated ones. I'd probably point a recommendation towards that one above all others. -Greg

+1 for the Mustang. Its the only one worth considering for FSX. All the rest are pretty poor in comparison in my experience. (10, 9, 8, 7, 6 ............................... )

In fact, I just landed in Marseille, outbound from Rome in the Mustang! Great plane.

If you want a 'bizjet', CRJ's, 380's etc don't qualify, they are commercial airliners. If it's actual bizjet's you are looking for, check out EagleSoft, they have a hanger full and all are topshelf.I have the F1 Mustang, but because of major features missing from the G1000 I don't fly it much now, but it also is good if you want a glass cockpit.

Remember Wilco is a publisher not the developer. Feelthere did the CRJ, someone else did the A380. These are two totally different products in the depth department. Now the CRJ was made for FS9 (which is very decent in that sim) so it may not run as well as other options for FSX just the same it's not a lite product like the A380 and more on the level of a moderate type add-on that has realistic features for the most.

Ok..Im not really looking for just a bizjet, I just called it that lol. Just none the less a good jet, not anything like an airliner 737,747,A380 etc.. Thanks

Correct. The CRJ designates Canadian Regional Jet.Here is a link to our upcoming FSX Citation X Business/Corporate Jet: http://www.eaglesoftdg.com/forum/viewtopic...f=21&t=1825The outstanding Flight 1 Mustang falls roughly into the Very Light Jet category which is used as a Business/Corporate Jet. :(

Go for the Mustang. However, I think Eaglesoft's C750 ver 2 is coming soon, that will be one to watch for as well!

Feelthere is doing a ERJ-145v2?! That's great news!EDIT: Just saw it on the feelthere website. Looks good! I'll be buying it. I need any small regional liner I can get.

The v2 of the Jungle Jets is good news ONLY if it is a feelthere product released by feelthere. If it is a Wilco product, all bets are off.

I am an avid globetrotter with my trusty Lufthansa B777F, Polar Air Cargo B744F, and Atlas Air B748F.

The term "business jet" is in the same boat as "general aviation". (ie, they don't describe an aircraft type) An A380 or CRJ could certainly be a business jet depending on how they're being used.Scott

I will have to disagree with you on that. I think what might be more appropriate would be saying features that you wanted rather than major features are missing. My guess is you wanted Vnav and a few other non critical items which can be easily computed mentally in a matter of seconds. The Mustang can perform an incredible amount of tasks (including the Garmin) in sync with what the real one offers and what most Mustang pilots will do 95 percent of the time.No other G1000 for FSX on the market can do what the Mustang G1000 does. Any others fly WAAS approaches?, Fly holds, Fly procedure turns? contain updatable Navigraph SIDS and STARS?Those are indeed major features and ones that are not being done in any other FSX G1000 that I know of. Keep in mind this is a Mustang simulation not a Garmin trainer. However, the G1000 is quite deep and very Mustang specific and the Mustang is officially approved and endorsed by Cessna in partnership with Flight1. No simulation can be everything to everyone, but the F1 Mustang is very representative of it's counterpart for an entertainment solution and at a mere 54 bucks as opposed to 2.3 million for the real thing. Despite the flack and fodder that will fly on that statement, I stand by it and make no apologies for the Mustang.Regards,Jim Rhoads

Couldn't agree more Jim!Users who think the Mustang G1000 is "lacking" simply do not understand the challenges involved in building such complexity at these pricepoints. The following applies to all FS Developers and the Sim Community at large...Never in the history of FS have simmers had so much realism and quality available and yet we all hear that some product/project is "lacking this or that".Of course they all do, it's a sim environment folks. :(
