July 15, 201015 yr When are we going to see a screen-shot from FSX? I'm curious about it. Not about modelling. Because we can not be able to see that much quality on this work - everything is limited @Flight Simulation as you guys have already known.. And as far as I remember, the releasing date was Mid-2010, is it? Sorry if I misremembered.Thank you.
July 15, 201015 yr Once you accidentally pushed the wrong button it would get out of sync and require reloading the flightThat's exactly the kind of things you won't see happening with the SDK. It also allows to read data from the aircraft so perfect sync all the time :(
July 15, 201015 yr ...And as far as I remember, the releasing date was Mid-2010, is it? Sorry if I misremembered.Thank you.I think you misremembered, the info on their site says "Right now, (as of 20FEB10) we can only say that the PMDG 737NGX will release during 2010."That would be before 1/1/2011

I believe that it was altered after the release of the 747-i, when their website was restyled. Martin Pampiermole
July 16, 201015 yr Hi,I also have question regarding the upcoming new 737.Will the NGX also offer support for the hardware made by CPFlight (MCP/EFIS/COMM/NAV/ADF/XPNDR) and FlyEngravity (CDU)? In other words, does the airplane offer native support for this hardware, or do we still need drivers made by another company?Jon

You could even build that yourself. As opposed to before when the drivers needed to be created by someone with extreme inside knowledge of the PMDG software (an ex-developer). July 16, 201015 yr Commercial Member Yeah the idea here is that the hardware interface companies themselves will be able to make the driver because they'll have all the info they need. The "ex developer" in question certainly will not be creating any interface drivers for this product as it contains absolutely none of his code. July 16, 201015 yr Commercial Member why no screeen shots? R. HamiltonClearly it's because we've cancelled the NGX and decided to give into the demand and make a Woodpigeon instead. Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
July 16, 201015 yr Clearly it's because we've cancelled the NGX and decided to give into the demand and make a Woodpigeon instead.I've been wanting to say something along these lines in other post relating to the Woody wood pecker plane. "Who really gives a damn, why should PMDG waste resources on such a piece???" But i've been nice until now, thought it was better suited here. Thanks Ryan for giving me a opprotunity to say such with out insulting anyone personally. Walter Trester

July 16, 201015 yr Hope some more inforrmation will come soon :( I am constantly checking on this thread, just to make sure I don't miss any information, screenshots etc.. :( PMDG, you guys are doing an incredebly good job, cant wait for the NGX to release :( Keep up the good work, and let us now how things are going B) Anders Weber ATPL(A) Student EKBI - Billund, Denmark
July 16, 201015 yr The "ex developer" in question certainly will not be creating any interface drivers for this product as it contains absolutely none of his code. You lost me there. Why wouldn't he be able to make interface drivers for the new 737? As from what I know, he usually receives a unit from CPFlight, and then makes the driver. If a hardware developer can make drivers, why wouldn't anybody else be able to do that, as long as they have the needed hardware?Or are you referring to the fact that the current drivers that are available will not work with the new 737? In that case it makes sense that the "old code" will not work with the new plane.Jon
July 16, 201015 yr Commercial Member Yeah, more the 2nd thing Jon. I suppose you're right that anyone can use the SDK to make a driver. I don't see that happening here though... Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
