August 11, 201015 yr Well thank gawd they don't rush. Do they usually release at a certain time of day? I know dumb question but I figured it would not hurt to ask Jeff BaumgartnerASUS Rampage II Extreme, i7 980x Gulftown OC @ 4.06Ghz,6GB Tri Channel, GTX 480 Fermi2x100GB SSD Hard Drives, Antec 1200 PSU, Corsair Hydro H50 Win7 64bit, FSX, AS2012, FSC, FTXG, PMDG-744, 748i, 744 LCF. August 11, 201015 yr Unlikely to happen. PMDG doesn't rush to get things done, as we all know, compared to FeelThere. Not sure what you mean by 'rush'. Feelthere releases great products all the time and dont spend aeons developing and promising.Their ERJ 135 and 145 is being used by the Belgian's Defense 15th Wing Transport as a training tool. That speaks volumes of the product.sam b.

I know dumb question but I figured it would not hurt to askI remember downloading the J41 at like midnight in New York, and that was right when they released it. That was definitely a long night / early morning - which ever way you want to look at it haha. Can't wait for this new bird! Thanks again PMDG! Blake Williams

August 11, 201015 yr I'm going to respectfully bring another reality check here, if I may. It was stated many months ago that they (PMDG) would announce when this project goes into Beta. That's what you should be looking for, a beta announcement, not a release. After they announce the beta, then you can probably add 3-6 weeks on to that. Hoping this will steer expectations into the right direction. Curt Branch
August 11, 201015 yr I agree Curt, but hopefully it will actually be announced when it goes to beta. Has PMDG announced their other aircraft when it hit Beta? I'm just curious since I never seemed to be on the forums at all for any of the releases other than the -8 which had no announcement of beta. PMDG (from what I've seen) likes things to be more covert and secretive. It all comes down to A.) Beta is announced so we can all put things into our own hopeful timeline or B.) They do the Beta as hush hush, keep people hanging/guessing and surprise everyone. I personally prefer the former to actually know a bit more than nothing since while waiting for other releases I just lost interest, stopped simming and then got it a year or so after the fact once I got back into my hobby. For me personally, I can't wait for it to be released, but at the same time can't afford it right now so rather it not be released until then, hahaha (I'm sure people will hate that comment, sorry but honest). I mean seeing it available and knowing "IT COULD BE MINE!" but not having the coin to get it would be soooo much more torturous to where I would probably consider a bank job or perhaps a kidnapping just to get it :( i9 10920x @ 4.8 ~ MSI Creator x299 ~ 256 Gb 3600 G.Skill Trident Z Royal ~ EVGA RTX 3090ti ~ Sim drive = M.2 2-TB ~ OS drive = M.2 is 512-gb ~ 5 other Samsung Pro/Evo mix SSD's ~ EVGA 1600w ~ Win 10 Pro Dan Prunier
August 11, 201015 yr Isn't feelthere the developers of the Wilco AIrbus Series??Yes, indeed. And it is also the best Airbus simulation out there at the moment, I should think. And for your information, an upgrade to the existing airbus product is in the works: You read it here first. There's a new improvement pack coming from Wilco Publishing for their Airbus Series (FSX/2004) : A318-A319-A320-A321-A330-A340. AVSIM has been told, "this pack will include stunning new features as well as improved existing systems This improvement pack will be available separately for the different Aibus Series versions"
August 11, 201015 yr Commercial Member Guys, enough with the FeelThere stuff please... I like their products a lot, but what we're doing here is a lot more complex honestly. ERJs don't have VNAV or autothrottles, the FMC routines aren't as complicated etc... We're also doing a degree of 3D modelling here that has never been seen before in FS. I flew around testing a bit last night and I know I'm biased but this VC is just astounding - there's nothing else like it anywhere, you guys will flip when you actually see it in the sim. August 11, 201015 yr Ryan, everytime you or Vin said that the VC is so good, everytime I am a little jealus that you are able to fly those Planes during developement :( best regards, Alexander Barger
August 11, 201015 yr ... I am a little jealus that you are able to fly those Planes during developement :(Don't you know it's bad luck to see the bride before the wedding? Hehe, I think it would actually work the other way for me. I mean, I have been part of some projects from the Alpha testing phases and seeing how the inner workings are sometimes done can take away the fun,,, well, in some cases anyway. i9 10920x @ 4.8 ~ MSI Creator x299 ~ 256 Gb 3600 G.Skill Trident Z Royal ~ EVGA RTX 3090ti ~ Sim drive = M.2 2-TB ~ OS drive = M.2 is 512-gb ~ 5 other Samsung Pro/Evo mix SSD's ~ EVGA 1600w ~ Win 10 Pro Dan Prunier

They want to make us salivate for this, but not to where we become dehydrated and require intravenous fluids. Tease, not torture, that's their way. Curt Branch
