Bird strikes or any potential mishap/failure is always a great thing to have as a possible problem (Like the RTO thread on brake temps would be sweet). FSPassengers has bird strikes and I belive FS2Crew does as well. I actually just had a bird strike and engine failure a couple days ago. Luckily it was in a light AC and I was still on rwy heading so my virtual passengers survived (although it sure stunk of poop for a while there :()
